Ruby shook her head in the negative, giving up and phoning her mother instead.

"Ruby..." Dakota answered with a yawn. "What is it?"

"Can you come over for the night?"

"Why?"

"Neighbours are being loud, I told you what they done last time they were arguing up there. Please.. Sapphire's already said no."

"Would you not rather come stay with me? You wont be able to hear them then. I can run you a bath, make you some hot chocolate."

"Yeah, yeah okay..."

"See you soon."

Ruby hung up and headed out.

Dakota ran her a bath.

"Hey," She whispered, wandering inside

"Hi honey."

"Hi, are you okay?"

"Mmh, I have wine, want some?"

"Please," Ruby whispered, "I think you need to talk to Sapphire,"

"What about?" Dakota frowned as she poured out some wine for Ruby, handing her the glass and sitting down on the couch.

"She's seeing a guy that's obviously using her," Ruby whispered as she sat herself down, "But she's getting bitchy with me today because I told her that he wasn't treating her right,"

"How do you know he's using her?"

"He's always gone before she wakes up, all they do is sleep together, he wants to be one of us."

"So she has a friend with benefits?"

"Mhm,"

"they're mutually using each other then..."

"She just wants to be held, he wants to be one of us! It's different! If he was just after emotional comfort he would be different but he wants to be turned, which means he's using all of us really."

"She's a big girl... she knows what she's doing."
