"Then there's no need for me to be here…" Joseph mumbled, leaving.

Mica sighed, getting to her feet and walking out after him. Catching his hand and taking a step in front of him so she could hug him, "There is plenty of need for you to be here, don't do this now. You're needed."

"She doesn't want me here and Lloyd hates me. There's no need for me to be here. There was no need for me to even be brought back. No point in anything without the kids."

"Lloyd's taunts have finally gotten to her, that's all. It just mean it's time to explain, your still her dad, she still loves you she just doesn't understand yet. Come back into the room, please. You're my Joe... my husband.. I need you, even if your doubting the kids. You're the only person I have on my side, don't go."

"She doesn't want me around! Lloyd hates me too! Grow up and accept that our kids fucking hate us! Look at where they are Mica. Maybe they're actually better of without us as it is!"

Mica flinched at his words, tightening her arms around him and moving her hand up to tangle her fingers in his hair.

"You started all this! None of this would've happened if you'd have just left me be! You brought me back to destroy the relationship I had with my kids!"

"No.." Mica whispered, loosening her arms around him. "No, you're the only person I have don't you do this too,  please..." She begged, almost silently.

"Do what?! Walk away because I have nothing left because you've made me destroy it all?!"

"Yes! Yes, please don't walk away because things didn't go as smoothly as I wished they had! Please don't leave me alone because I couldn't make you better quick enough. I can't do this completely alone......  Please don't leave Maddie, just because now she knows, it isn't her fault; it's mine. If your going to leave me, promise me you won't leave her like my mum has left me. It isn't her fault you're not biologically hers, it isn't her fault she's confused, it isn't her fault she doesn't know how to feel yet. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you! She'll need you more now she knows."

"You just watched her push me away which is exactly what you've been doing to your mother!"

"If your going to leave me, promise me you won't leave her!"

"She doesn't want me!"

"Yes she does! When I visited them, all she spoke about was how much she missed us both and wanted to come back home! She's the only one we haven't lost, Joseph!"

"She just pushed me away!"

"Get back in there and hug her and tell her that it doesn't matter if you share the same DNA or not because your still her dad. Promise her your not going to leave and  then change the subject and ask her how she's feeling! Don't just walk away from her!"

"What part of she pushed me away did you not understand?"

"Just go in and do as I suggested."

"No. I'm gonna go find her dad."

"Leo never cared about her Joe...." She whispered, "I- promise you'll come back to me?"

"I don't know..."

"Please, Joe... Your my husband, love you, so much."

"Wish you'd left me dead."

Mica flinched at that.
