"What do you mean he might have known? You think he knew that you didn't hurt me that night?" She sounded confused as if she hasn't considered this before but she nodded texting Luca cause she didn't want to call and risk waking them.

Sarah was already awake when Luca would have got the text, she was happily lying in her hospital bed listening to the thoughts that she could get from the baby.

"He might have known what happened the further he probed, he has been in your head a lot." Dean told her. "So he might not have known straight away, but I think he's known recently, after all you two haven't been that joined at the hip lately." He was talking about the distance that had been between the pair of them lately.

He grabbed his phone right away and replied that both Sarah and the baby were alright. "Brooke is with Dean... apparently he's helping her and taking good care of Deanna..."

"Why wouldn't he tell me? I never kept my closed to him... never. I live Pete... I've loved him since we were just kids but did I really not see his scars?..."

"Love blinds the best of us as the saying goes." Dean told her. "He could have been ashamed."

Sarah looked at him. "Tell her to call, so we can both speak to her, the baby liked her voice almost as much as ours."

He nodded texting Brooke back to tell her to call them. "I just did."

"Is it possible I just didn't see his scars because I didn't want to see them?.. maybe I was wrong this whole time and I don't deserve Peter... don't deserve anyone really after what I've done to you all..."

"You know that's not true." Dean told her. "I'm just as much to blame for what happened as you are." He reminded her. "But it is a possibility."

Sarah nodded. "Aww, the little one wants to speak to you." She told him.

"How? How are you in the wrong?.. I drank... way to much at that, told you I loved you, lead you on and then slept with you. I freaked on you when I couldn't remember and then let them believe you hurt me to which you've been getting beat up for?! I'm the one that's messed up here. Me. Not you."

He smiled touching her stomach. "I'm so glad you two are okay."

"I still went ahead and slept with you." Dean told her.

Sarah smiled, her hand resting over his so that he could hear the soft word 'daddy' from their baby. "So are we."

"You were drunk..."

He smiled brightly.

"As were you."

Sarah smiled. "I think we are going to have a boy."

"Fine fine... this though the situation I'm in now is on me..." she looked at her phone and called Luca.

"Yeah? Why do you think that?" He picked up as his phone rang. "Brooke?"

Sarah didn't answer because his phone went off and she watched him, eager for any more news.

Dean shrugged at that point.

"Yeah... hi Luca. I'm alright... I just... I know those at home as upset with me so I'm not going home yet... unless it's to get some of my stuff..."

Luca out her on speaker for Sarah. "Brooklyn, listen to me. It's your home and you have the right to be there if you want to be."

Sarah looked from the phone to him. "Brooke, your brother is right, just come home and at least see us face to face."

"I came to the hospital last night and Grace yelled at me.. Peter snapped at me and walked away and when I called Ari she told me if all I was gonna do was make it all about me not to come home.. so there's no reason to go back right now."

Sarah sighed. "And you understand why everyone is upset." She concluded. "Brooke, it's your choice afterall, but don't stay away too long and at least come and visit, even if it's just Deluca and I while I'm stuck in hospital."

"Of course I understand... I know what I did was wrong by lying to Peter and not telling him I invited Dean over. I know it's my fault that both you and Grace are hurt... I'm sorry... I'll never be able to make up for my mistakes but I'll come see you if you want me to..."

"Of course we want you to." Sarah told her. "Brooke, no matter what happens, you're family...And the baby likes hearing your voice."

"I'll be there when I can... and I'm really glad you're okay..."

Sarah smiled. "We are glad that you're okay too Brooke, just promise me that you'll be safe and careful, both you and Deanna."

"We are. She's in a baby swing right now, she's napping."

Sarah sighed. "At least she is happy."

"I'll come by and see you soon... how is Grace doing?"

"She's doing okay, shell find out if any serious has been done in a few days."

She sighed softly. "I'm sorry..."
