Creatures of the Dark

Stephan sat with her.

Alice looked at him. "No it's not."

"Yeah, it is. How can you tell me it's not, Alice... you should hate me. All of you should."

"You did what you thought was right to protect her." She looked to their daughter who had fallen back to sleep as she spoke.

"And in the process I ruined things for us and I put her in danger anyway... not even just her but everyone."

"No one will ever get to touch her." Alice promised him. "Frankie, maybe things could go back to the way that they where, but not yet." She told him.

Frankie looked at her. "I'm in no rush... you know I never was. I just want our daughter safe."

"I know." She told him, resting her head back against the wall.

He nodded.

She looked to the door as Stephan stood there. "Stephan, relax."

"I can't." He told her.

Frankie sighed quietly.

"Stephan, at least come sit with we," Ana held her hand out to him.

After a few minutes, Stephan gave in and sat with her.

Alice watched them.

"Thank you," she whispered snuggling into his side and nuzzling her head into his neck.

Frankie was quiet just letting Lily sleep in his arms.

Nhe smiled softly, moving to take his jacket off and slid it around her.

Lily eventually woke up, getting hungry.

He passed her back to Alice than.

She looked up at him and smiled.

Alice held her as she made a bottle appear and she started to feed her daughter.

He smiled back.

He leaned his head back against the wall in silence.

She gently nuzzled her head into his neck.

Alice watched her daughter and she started humming a song to her.

Stephan held her close and he closed his eyes as he heard Alice humming.

Ana didn't move at all, if anything she nuzzled into him even closer listening to Alice hum.

Frankie kept quiet remaining exactly where he was.

She continued her humming.

Stephan was quiet.

Ana closed her eyes seeming to fall into a very light sleep.

Stephan smiled, finding her falling asleep, and he gently kissed her head, suddenly there was the sound of footsteps and they sounded too heavy to be Hayden or Ethan, and Stephan was on his feet in an instant, however he relaxed when the footsteps belong to Maxx and he slid into the den with Ben. "Thanks gods, it's only you three."

"We got a bit stuck." Maxx told them, sitting next to Alice and she handed the baby to him. "Hey Frankie, are you back for good?"

Ana slept for the few moments right up until Stephan moved, she blinked her eyes sitting up quickly and looking around.

Frankie looked around. "That depends on all of you if you want me back... " his eyes landed on Alice as he spoke.

Rylee stuck close to the boys.

"Of course we do." Ben.told him. "Angel or not, you're part of us."

Max patted the space next to him for Rylee as he held Lily.

Stephan. Sat back with her.

He nodded. "Thanks. I was only trying to protect Alice and Lily by leaving... the broke their word when they came after you all. I'm no longer anything when it comes to them."

Rylee sat herself down beside him with a small smile as she looked at the baby.

Ana instantly curled back up into his side.

He held her close. "It still poses us with a problem." He told them.

"I agree with Stephan, they will still want you back." Ben told him. "You're valuable."
