He smiled softly.

"Not anything that everyone doesn't already know."

"Well talk to me about what happened down there."

"Him. He comes here every day and acts like everything's perfect."

"Of course he comes here, we are still his family and maybe everything for him. Feel right?"

"I'm not saying that he shouldn't be here... of course he should be but it just feels like he's rubbing it in my face. How happy he is now.. how good he's doing."

"He's not trying to rub it in your face Brooke, I think you might be a bit jealous."

"Jealous of what exactly? That he was everything to me and now it's all as if it were some dream?"

"No jealous of what he has, a job a house of his own, that he seems to be having fun?"

She shook her head. "No. I've always wanted that for him..."

"So what's the problem?" She asked. "He has everything that you wanted him to have."

Brooke sighed. "Nothing. There is no problem at all."

"Stop lying Brooke, there obviously is a problem."

'My problem doesn't matter. Nothing can be done about it anyhow."

"Just talk to me about it."

Brooke sighed deeply, running a hand through her long hair. "I miss him... a lot."

"I can see that."

"Then why are we discussing this if you already know?"

"Because there appears to be something more."

"There isn't. I miss him. I love him... I will always love him," she mumbled quietly, staring blankly down at her lap.

"Brooke, you need to move on." SHe advised.

Brooke scoffed quietly. "And this is why I didn't want to talk about it."

"It helps to talk about it."

"No it doesn't. All it's doing is making me think about things I don't want to think about."

"Fine, I don't know what to suggest Brooke, but we all have to talk about things that we don't want to at one point, you need to get used to it."
