"Tell her whatever you want, or don't tell her anything and I'll tell her." It was fine, she could do it. She would handle it all and with that she got to her feet before she did begin to cry. "Deanna? Do you want to go down to Peter's wedding?" she called to her as she walked out into the hall.

Deanna ran back out to her and she nodded. “Come on mummy wuickly.”

"Dean, I do love you, no matter what I may have you thinking.. I do." she told him before she scooped up Deanna and headed downstairs quickly so they wouldn't miss it all the while refusing not to cry and putting on a smile.

When they got down there Sarah smiled to herself and nodded to Denise to have a glance behind them when she saw them but to keep it a secret from Peter. “Family we are here today not only to have a new face join us but to celebrate a bond so strong it will take lifetimes to disappear.” Sarah told them. “Peter and Denise have asked to say their vows in front of you their family and friends.” She looked to Denise. “Denise your vows.”

Brooke silently took a seat and set Deanna down beside her.

Denise cast a quick glance over her shoulder at Sarah's look and let out a relieved sigh. She was glad they had came to support Peter. "Peter, we might not have known each other as long as others but our bond runs deeper than most people can ever experience. In the short time we've been together we've had laughter, tears, heartbreak, growth but most of all love for one another. Each day that I'm with you, is a day that I'm happy and I never want that to change. As long as you're by my side I know I'll be alright, I've loved you from the moment I saw you." She smiled at him, her eyes never leaving his as she spoke, a warmth running through her hands and to his as she held them. "I'm forever yours."

Sarah smiled softly. “Peter,”

He gently kissed her hands. “Denise, it’s true that we haven’t been together for long, but I could t think of a better person to have by my side through the troubles and the issues that we face and I couldn’t think of a better mother for my son.” He told her. “I’ve loved you since the day I served you at the bar,I can’t wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Denise blushed when he mentioned the bar but it was true, she knew in that moment that he was the one for her. She gently squeezed his hands.

Sarah smiled at the both of them. “Now that Denise and Peter have both spoken their vows is there anyone here who thinks that they should not be joined together in wedlock?”

Bo glanced at her sister having seen that she did come down finally, praying silently that she didn't say something but also at the same time wishing she would tell Peter how she felt.

Peter looked to Denise as they waited the mandatory seconds

Denise smiled at him not looking at anyone else.

Peter smiled softly at her kissing her hand gently.

Sarah did a quick glance around before she was about to go back to the officiating

Brooke seemed to be having an internal fight within herself, she had truly let Peter go and wanted him to be happy but the more he spoke about his love for Denise the more it physically broke her heart.

Peter looked to Sarah, she could see Brooke’s face and she wanted to help her feel better but she wasn’t sure how to.

Brooke could feel the eyes on her and she shook her head, she wouldn't do it. She wanted to but she knew he would never forgive her, no one would.

Sarah raised an eyebrow at her before she carried on. “Now time for the rings if you have them.” She looked to Kol who made two wedding rings seemingly appear out of nowhere. “Peter take Denise’s ring.” She waited until he had. “Peter do you promise to love Denise until your last breath, to protect her and serve her in all aspects of marriage, to treat her like a partner and an equal to yourself in all ways, for as long as you both shall live?”

“I do.” Peter told her his eyes not leaving Denise’s as he slid the ring onto her finger before gently placing a kiss to it.

“Denise, do you promise to love Peter until your last breath, to protect him and serve him in all aspects of marriage, to treat him like a partner and an equal to yourself in all ways, for as long as you both shall live?”

Brooke lowered her head, eyes closed and shutting down pretty completely. It was clear she was seriously hurting and being down here was likely a very big mistake.

"I do." Denise replied softly, her eyes looked on Peter's as she slid his ring onto his finger.

Deanna looked to her mum and she saw how upset she was. “Mummy you need to tell him.”

"Not during his wedding, I won't be that person.." she whispered surprising herself that she had admitted it.

Deanna looked to her. “I’m sorry mummy.” She handed her some tissues using them as a distraction as she got out into the aisle. “I object!” She shouted and everyone stopped to look at her, even Peter looked to Deanna confused.

“Deanna?” He asked her.

“I object daddy,” she told him. “You can’t marry Deni, eventhough you are very nice, my mummy needs you daddy.”

Brooke took the tissue on reflex which gave Deanna the chance to get out into the aisle. Instantly panic set in and she looked both sick and angry and the very same time. "Dee, Dee come sit down.." she called to her in hushed tone reaching to grab her hand. She hoped they would all ignore this because she was a child.

“Deanna go and sit with your mum.”

“No mummy doesn’t want you to do this, you have to help her daddy.” She looked to her mum. “Tell him.”

"Deanna, come sit down.. now." Brooke eyed him very seriously.

Denise looked hurt and confused.

Bo frowned. "Deanna come here."

“No this was wrong.@ Deanna told them.

Peter sighed “Sarah, continue.”

Brooke got up and scooped Deanna up into her arms and walked away from the wedding with her so they could finish. "Sometimes.. you just have to let things go."
