Reuniting Tornedalians

Dmitri had gone a different way to the others when it came to searching for her. The wolves he had been put with to look having refused to listen to him so they had gone off a different way. Currently he was hidden just out of sight from the witches, watching closely as they prepared - biding his time.

Dmitri didn't hear her, too focused on watching the witches around her. When the witch had her back turned, he exhaled slowly and stepped out from his hiding spot, beginning to approach where Alex was tied.

"I'm not letting them kill you," Dmitri whispered, gripping onto one of the chains and giving it a tug to work out how sturdy it was.

Dmitri nodded, wandering down to the end of the table. Still keeping a close eye on the witch, lifting his hand over the weak part of the chains - whispering a spell under his breath to break them.

Dmitri swore as he looked up and saw the witch, instantly moving his hand up to focus the spell onto her instead - blasting her with a dark energy.

"Alex, get up, run!" Dmitri told her, "I'll hold her off. Get to the wolves."

An hour later...

Dmitri had partaken in a long-lasting duel of magic with the witch whom was trying to perform the sabbath - one he had one, shown by the witches body now laid across the metal table. The surrounding area was a mess, trees having fallen down, ditches in the ground - the extent of power from the magic being obvious.

Dmitri himself was slumped up right in front one of the fallen down trees - blood that was still fresh coming from his nose, eyes and ears from the pressure of the magic - beside that he was covered in bruises and gashes.

Dmitri half opened his eyes when he heard her voice, doing his best to sit up properly with a groan.

"No, no. It's fine..." Dmitri assured, though those are all the words he managed to get out before he began to cough violently. Lifting his hand up to catch blood.

Dmitri just glared at them, frustrated that he wasn't being listened to. It was only a short glare though, before he let his eyes close as the magic healed him.

"Mm, whatever." Dmitri mumbled, his argumentative side quickly giving up as he rested his forehead against Belle's shoulder exhaustedly.

"Thanks," He whispered when he felt the spell was done, "Nothing will heal the magic fatigue though other than not doing any for a few days." Pulling away from Belle he looked over at Alex, "You okay?"
