When they were in full view of the house she looked to him and she suddenly hugged him tightly.

She looked to him with a shrug. “I’m sorry, if I hadn’t have been in your river we wouldn’t have met and you would have this problem.” She told him. “You’re my best friend Caspian and I thought that I was going to lose you.”

“Layla wait.” He told her.

“No, not just that,” she told him and she sighed. “I’ve not been sleeping, because I have this dream every night it’s about you,” she tried to explain. “Every night it’s the same one, we find ruines carved into trees and you tell me to run, and then you’re suddenly attacked dragged away by things that I can’t tell like black masses, you even broke your arm the same way as you did today.” She explained.

“I’m sorry I’ve let this power thing go to my head, I know that now, but please don’t walk away.” He told her. “I know it’s stupid but I’m doing all of this for us, I want us to live free so that no one can touch us and I guess I got a bit carried away.”

“Caspian I think this one might be.” She told him. “Are you sure that this isn’t more than a coincidence?”

Eris rested her head on his shoulder. “I hope they are just dreams.” She whispered.

He moved away from her sitting on his knees in the ground it was his kinds sign of submission, he loved her and until she wanted him close again he would remain there to waist.

She looked to him, just as Thorin appeared behind them. “Miss me?” Eris turned to face him and she suddenly walked over and smacked him. “You idiot you said you would take care of this and you haven’t! We could have died!” As she went to smack him again Thorin grabbed her wrist with such force the bones almost broke.

“You can leave.” Thorin reminded him before he turned back to Eris. “Because of my son I won’t hurt you but do something like that again and our deal is off and you will be down there in hell with me.” He warned her

“I can’t wait to see how this pans out.” Thorin told them.

Thorin looked to Eris. "One little blade isn't enough."

"Just go away Thorin." She told him.

Rylee nodded. "Everything fine."

Alice smiled softly. “Good I’m glad.”

She smiled a little in return.

Max looked to her and he smiled sligjtly, it wasn’t a full smile but it was close enough

She was wondering what he was thinking and if he was okay.

He kissed her forehead gently and once everyone was finished he started to clean up

She got to her feet and helped him with everything. "Are you alright?"
