"I didn't know if he'd give you a choi-" She cut off as a sob escaped her lips, a sadness she had been disguising as anger. Terror causing her words to shake, "I thought I was going to have to do it alone a- and I'd ha- Ave to tell the b- baby th- that ... that- somehow..."

"I will always choose to remember you, thankfully I think my mum has put him off the idea." He told her "You'll never be alone in any of this."

"B- b- but you don't even l- like me. Yo- you think I'm st-'stupid. Yo- you never want my h- help or- or my opinon o- or..."

"No babe, please don't think that." He told her. "I said it wrong, whatever I said, I said it wrong, I love you, you are the smartest, bravest and most amazing person I have ever met." He told her. "I always want your opinion and your help, but I always want to protect you, I don't want you to over exert yourself, I want to always ensure that you and the baby are safe, I'm sorry that my attempts to do that, made you feel all of this."

"A- and n- no on- one is ev- ever on my s- side wh- when I am sa- sad. No one- I am alone. Pe- people claim to be friends and crit- criticise me when I nee- need them. T- tear me do- down until I- i want to bre- break and then do- don't leave when I ask, an- and it's like be- being trapped. It- it is like be- being backed into a corner."

"That I can understand." He told her. "I wish I could come to you an be with you right now." He sighed. "Listen to me my darling, no one has the right to tell you anything that hurts you." He promised. "Tell you what, when I can use my abilities again and I can see you, why don't we go away together, somewhere where it's just us and we can be with your baby?" He suggested.

"I- I don't want to g- go any- anywhere. I don't wa- want to do anything." Alessia swallowed a sob.

"And that's okay," He told her. "When I'm able, am I able to come and see you?"

"Yes, y- yes. I - I'm just with my d-dad."

He nodded. "I can't wait to see you."

"Yeah, yeah... when?"

"Hopefully in the next day or two." He told her.

"Okay..."

He nodded. "Wait for me?" He asked, there was a hint of a smile behind his seriousness.

"I'll just be here, trying not to be disturbed."

He smiled softly. "Good luck with that," He told her. "How is the baby? I know I keep forgetting to ask."

"Fine, fine."

"Good...I suppose your busy spending time with your dad so I'll talk to you later?" He asked.

"Okay. Bye..."

Alessia hung up

When she hung up, he put the phone down on his bed and he lay back. "Could have been worse." He told himself, looking up when he felt something jump onto the bed and found his parent's dog with him. "Hey you."
