Hunters and the Hunted

Indigo nodded in understanding, then offered; "Do you want to go inside then? Might make you feel a little better."

"Inside might be better, yes. And your place is protected with shields and all that crap, right?"

"Yeah Scareth is quite neutral."

Scarlet nodded. "That would be fine."

Scareth shook his head. "Not really, what about you?"

"Trust me, anytime I spend on you isn't wasted."

Indigo nodded, reaching a hand out to grab his shoulder before flashing them into her living room.

"It's his choice. We aren't exactly stellar parents. Could've done so much to raise all the kids better, really."

Ian let one of his hands slip up the inside of her shirt as he moved to kiss her.

"There's nothing I can think of. Though, I was wondering if I should have my hair cut a little shorter. Sometimes I sit on it by accident and it's hard to brush without assistance." She slowly moved a hand to tug at her hair.

"I reckon it is," Faye muttered to herself, before wincing all of a sudden, jerking her hand up towards her neck.

Jason relaxed noticeably when they were inside, moving to take her hand off of his shoulder so he could press a kiss on her palm.

"Tuesday they were raised fine."

She kissed him back, moving a hand into his pants.
____

"Get it cut but not too short, how about to about here?" He asked, touching the middle of her back. "That way it can't be sat on and it's easier to brush."

He watched her.

Indigo smiled as he kissed her hand, moving it from his lips to rest gently in his hair.

"I still can't help but think I could've done some things better for them."

Ian groaned against her mouth, his other hand slipping under her shirt as well.

"It won't hurt, will it? Whenever father wanted it shorted, he would just gather it all up, pull it tight and cut it off. That usually tugged at my scalp. It hurt sometimes."

"Shake him off already," Faye muttered. "Shake him off." Finger shaped bruises were appearing against the skin of her throat and she scratched uselessly at it, breathing shallow.

Jason leaned his head into her hand with a pleased hum.

Rosco raised an eyebrow, before he simply seemed to blink and what was causing the bruises couldn't touch Faye.

"No, it won't...I will ask Scarlet to do it for you if you want."

She moved her hand as far as it would go in his pants.

"I guess every mother feels like that."

Indigo stepped closer and leaned in to kiss him.

Faye let out a heavy breath, muttering a thanks. "Alarick keeps getting his ass handed to him. I don't know why he ain't fighting back."

Ian broke the kiss to start nipping against her jawline and neck.

"I guess so." Tuesday rubbed the back of her neck, "I'm thinking I should probably apologise to Faye."

Jason ducked his head down so he could easily return the kiss, one hand moving to cup her jaw.

Indigo deepened it slightly, moving her other arm around his waist.

"Ok....She said that she wll be over this evening."

"Yeah you should." Sirius told her.

Scarlet closed her eyes, moving to make it easier for him.

"Do you want me to find him?"

Jason matched his kiss to hers, hand tangling in her hair.

Aria nodded quietly, tugging absently at her hair.

"If she even wants to talk or listen to me."

Ian smiled against her jaw, hands moving to rest on her waist.

"Make him hate me even more when he gets here? He wanted out. He doesnt want to be near me."

Indigo moved herself closer to Jason as she kept up the kiss.

Scareth moved to sit behind her, and he moved her hair as he started bruishing it.

She smiled slightly.

"Alright."

Jason deepened the kiss a little further.

Aria sighed happily, tilting her head forward so he could brush her hair easier.

"I'm pretty sure she won't let me in the same room with her for a couple days."

Ian pressed one final kiss behind her ear before pushing gently at her. "I'll try and reason with this one. The first is normally quite soft." As if on cue, the doorbell rang.

"I don't want him to hate me but I want him to be safe." Faye flinched as a long scratch appeared, stretching from her shoulder, up her neck and jaw and finishing at her cheek. "But he's really doing nothing and letting this person hurt him."

Indigo started kissing the side of his jaw.

Jason tilted his head to the side absently after nuzzling against Indigo's hair.

Rosco seemed to simply blink and Faye couldn't be hurt as much.

Scarlet sighed. "Alright, but I'm staying right here."

"Just try."

Scareth brushed her hair for her and as he done it, he was slowly able to soothe her.

Faye wiped her chin absently and then realised there was no wound there, staring at her hand as if she was wondering why there was no blood.

"You'll have to come help me if a body needs burying," Ian called over his shoulder as he walked towards the door.

"Yeah, I suppose I should. I'm good at avoiding problems though."

Aria slouched forward, resting her chin on her hand as she started dozing off.

"Yeah and hopefully it isn't yours."

Scareth done it until she doed off to sleep.

"Trust me, you ain't avoiding this one."

Rosco looked at her.

"Hopefully it won't come to any bodies."

Aria seemed to just slump as she dropped off, breathing softly and evenly, though it looked as if her arm might give way and she might fall at a moment's notice.

"Can't I wait until Rosco's calmed her down or something?" Tuesday nervously twisted her hands. "I don't know how to approach this. I've never purposefully shunned one of my kids before."

"I really don't understand why he - oh, now I understand. Okay. That makes sense."

Scareth carefully picked her up and he brought her to their room, tucking her up in bed.

"And you think I have?" He asked. "Just aproach it like you normally would."

"I hope not."

"Mind telling me?"

Aria absently curled herself up onto one side, relaxing heavily.

"I've never had to calm one of them before, just tell them off for being stupid!"

Ian snorted softly as he answered the door, blinking a few times before stepping to the side and asking, "Did you wanna come in, Danny? Come on, don't look at me like that, I'm not going to bite your head off, sheesh."

The boy that shuffled in looked about twelve, wringing his hands nervously together as he muttered, "I'm supposed to kill you."

"That wouldn't work out."

"I-I know."

"Alarick doesn't like to hit girls," Faye deadpanned. "So he's just stood there letting her tire herself out."
