Creatures of the Dark

SHe nodded. "Good, like I said, once is enough." She told him.

"Can I stay with you until tomorrow?" He asked quietly. "Then - then tomorrow we can talk to them, when we get back?"

She nodded. "Of course you can, I'll text your mum when we get abck." She told him.

"Thanks." He mumbled, hugging his knees to his chest as he watched the water.

She stayed sitting next to him, before she looked up as she heard someone coming towards them.

Zion's shoulders tensed at the sound if footsteps, instinctively alert, his head lifting up to find the source.

Belle was on her feet before him and she noticed that it was one of the angels. "Prince Zion?" The angel asked, looking to Zion.

Zion pushed himself to his feet, stepping in front of Belle. "Who wants to know?"

Belle watched him, before her eyes moved to the angel. "Good." He told him. "Make this easy for me mate, I've got a lot of people to get rid of today."

"Over my dead body." Belle told him, standing at Zion's side.

"It's a dangerous game you are playing." Zion stated calmly. "I have no interest in anyone getting hurt here." He paused, noting the ring on the angels finger, "I imagine whoever they are would want you to return home."

From the bushes, the low growl of Elliott's wolf rumbled. Twigs snapping as he circled.

Belle smiled slightly as she heard Elliott. "There's three of us and one of you." Belle reminded him. "You won't get past us two to get to him." She moved to stand in front of Zion. "Now, get your feathery ass out of here, before my husband rips you limb from limb."

He laughed. "You didn't think I knew about you?" The angel laughed. "Elliott is our toy Belle, if I wanted him to hurt you, he would." He held up a small stone, that had the same engraving as Elliott's owner mark on it. "Elliott, come."

It took a moment, paws scrambling against dirt as he fought against himself. Elliott's stature small when he did step out to stand at the angels side, eyes not his own.

"If you try anything, you will jeprodise plans for peace that your royal family are putting in place," Zion answered, unphased. "You will return home as soon traitor."

"Do you really think you and your sister were going to be safe after that wedding?" He asked him, sarcastically petting Elliott's head. "Your father was hurt by angel fire, he will probably die soon, I'm surprised he's lived this long, but you don't care, do you? He wasn't there for you, you don't know him." He was throwing Zion's words back at him. "Your mother will probably kill herself like the selfish little wench that she is, and your sister will be married to my future king, locked in her room until she gives him an heir and then that babe will be purged of all things demonic before she is killed as well."

"Zion, go home." Belle instructed him. "I can handle them, so go."

"No," Zion whispered, closing his eyes and counting out his breathing. With every breath, small wisps of shadow began to flicker at his fingertips until they formed a ball - his eyes cold when he opened them again, veins beneath them flash against his skin. "I can handle this."

Belle shrugged out of her jacket, throwing it to the side. "If you get hurt I'm going to kick your ass." She warned him.

The angel smirked, before he looked to Elliott. "Kill the boy."

The muscles in Elliott's back tremored with the force in which he shook his fur out, claws on his back paws flexing so he could push full force into the air so quickly that Zion couldn't react. The two of them tumbling into the water.

Belle probably reacted a bit quicker, she managed to drag Elliott off of him before he could do some real damage, her wolf had grown in the years that they had been apart, she was stroner now.

Elliott didn't react any more then pulling to get to Zion once more, focused.

Zion scrambled to his feet, blood trickling down from a bite on his power right arm and dripping from his fingertips. His other hand manipulating the shadows to create a three-headed cerebrus that launched at the angel - it's darkness suffocating. "Tell me what my father needs to heal!" He demanded.

The angel was older than both Belle and Zion gave him credit for and older meant more power, he was able to displace the cerberus for now. "I find that this situation is solving a problem that we have had for years, at last with your father out of the way, your people cease to exist."

Belle dragged Elliott ot of the way using her strength to at least pin him down.

Zion didn't seem phased, creating the creature again, and again. Pelting them towards the angel in brutal attacks. "How long does he have? What is the cure?"

"Why do you care Zion?" He demanded. "He's no one to you." He reminded him, he took a second to look to Elliott and Belle. "Elliott, kill her first."

"Ah ah ah," Zion chastised as Elliott's struggles against Belle subsided, eyes warming. Zion's hand unclenching a small shadow nymph placed the stone in his palm. "You don't get to tell him what to do."

Belle gave him a wolfish smile, licking his muzzle before she moved to stand wth their nephew.

The angel smirked. "I don't need a wolf to take dow a child." He told him. "But he was made by us, we can just take away the magic that gave him life to begin with."

"If I go with you, willingly... let the wolf go." Zion whispered, the shadows retracted. Area growing in light as they gave way to the sun. Taking a step towards his attacker.

Elliott remained where he was, panting.

Belle stood in front of him, before she shifted back to hman. "ion, no."
