He helped her to get comfortable just as Peewee appeared . “I have sent for Madam Pomfrey.”

Hermione gave a small nod in thanks, both of her hands resting on her stomach as she took another deep breath.

Peewee looked between her mistress and master and she could see the worry start to show on Draco but he was keeping control of it for now to not alarm hermione

Hermione wasn't worried, she knew giving birth was going to painful and tough.

Draco pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead

She smiled softly at him. "Relax, everything's alright."

“This is probably as relaxed as I’m going to get.” He told her with a soft smile

She laughed quietly, reaching for his hand.

He slid his fingers between hers

Her hand tightened around his when another contraction came. "It's getting worse, quickly.."

He kissed her head. “You can do this babe.” He told her just asMafam Pomfrey came in.

“Right Hermione darling let’s see how well you’re progressing.”

She leaned her head on his shoulder and nodded at Madame Pomfrey. "I'm ready."

Madam Pomfrey checked her over. “Well, things are progressing nicely but unfortunately your waters haven’t broken yet.”

"No, I've noticed that.. can we do that it help it along? It won't hurt him?"

“No it won’t if anything it will make things less dangerous for him.” She promised

Hermione nodded. "Let's do it then." Anything that would help she was all for.

Madam Pomfrey nodded and she put some gloves on. “Now this might feel uncomfortable at first with the amount of pressure but after that it should progress the labour nicely.” She told her

There was another nod from Hermione and she tightened her hold on Draco's hand, once again taking a deep breath.

She got to work straight away not wanting to keep her waiting to long

Draco kissed her hand gently

She squeezed his hand.

He gently brushed his thumb against her hand.

“Ah perfect, now all we have to do is wait, the contractions should start increasing soon.”

"They already have been so I'm ready for it.." Or perhaps she wasn't, either way she was going to need to be very soon.

Draco smiled slightly, gently stroking her hand

She held his hand still.

He kept hold of her hand helping her through each contracton
