The next day, Rebekah and Vanessa were in the living room. Rebekah was getting Vanessa ready to go back to school, helping her with her coat and shoes and such.

Next day

Charlotte woke up on the sofa back at the Salvatore boarding house, a book on her lap and she looked over at Caroline who was lying on the opposite sofa and Elijah who was asleep in the armchair, all of them had books on their laps indicating they had tried looking for something in the books the night before.

Damon walked downstairs, all happy and light since Stefan had practically saved his ass again, he was going to visit Falin. "Morning sleepy head." He called Charlotte as he patted her head. "Oh and next time, if you're gong to fall asleep on the sofa, at least have the decency to tell me." He smiled. "Oh and secondly, don't go upstairs, Elena stayed the night."

"I bet you to visiting me," Falin mused with a quiet laugh as she entered the livingroom, sliding her arms around Damon. "Told you I'd be over before you had a chance to come to mine."

"I'll be back soon," Rebekah told Klaus as she ushered Vanessa out the door. "And I'll compel the staff at the school to keep her safe, to only let you, Kol or me pick her up."

"And Tatia, in case Tatia ever picks her up." Klaus told her quietly.

"I'm not doing that." Rebekah shook her head. "You might be foolish enough to trust her but I don't." she deadpanned, before she left after Vanessa.

Klaus just let out a deep sigh before glancing around the house, seeming a little lost how to spend his time now.

Damon smiled slightly. "Hello Falin."

Charlotte waved at Falin from where she lay on the sofa before she text Jeremy asking what he was up to.

"What're you moping around for?" Kol asked his brother apathetically as he came down the stairs and rounded past him straight into the kitchen.

"You were right, I went soft and began to rely on Tatia too much and now I have no clue what the hell to do with my time." Klaus grumbled, getting to his feet and following him. "You've been moping, too, though." He pointed out, asking curiously, "Is Abigail still here or has she gotten her own place yet?"

Falin smiled a little bit.

"I think she's got her own place, I didn't see her when I came out of my room. Then again I really wasn't paying that much attention." Kol shrugged, getting a glass out and pouring himself a drink. "Go draw ponies, paint snowflakes or something." he suggested. "It's what you did before she was around."

Klaus rolled his eyes, "Not in the mood for that," he grumbled, "Want to come help me ruin a town. Don't fancy doing it by myself."

Damon gently kissed her cheek then her neck. "Are you up for a little vampire to hybrid fun upstairs?" He whispered, though he didn't know that Elijah had heard.

Falin gave a small grin, nodding before whispering, "Sshhh, someone'll hear then it'll be easy for them to guess I found away to be unsired and then it'll be trouble for me." as she headed up the stairs and dragged him behind her.

"Charlotte won't tell anyone, and the others are asleep." He followed her.

Kol thought about it as he downed his drink, then nodded. "Why the hell not."

"Good because it'll be easy for them to guess I found away to be unsired and then it'll be trouble for me." Falin replied, not bothering to whisper now that he said everyone else was asleep, so Elijah would be able to hear.

"Should be back before Nessa comes home from school," Klaus mused

Damon nodded. "Exactly." He locked the door when they got to the room she wanted.

Turning, Falin wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his.

"You not bothered about Bekah finding out and ranting about exposure?"

"Nope,"

Charlotte eventually called Jeremy's cell.

"Or about your wife finding out and going ballistic?"

"Me and Tatia are having a break," Klaus grumbled,"She was alive all along... Got turned into a vampire and watched, then got turned human some how and it's a big confusing thing. Point is, she just watched."
