Scarlet just rolled her eyes. "Good for you...Anything else?" she finished her drink and slipped off of the barstool, walking away.

Malvolio rolled his eyes, joking after her, "Why're you so grumpy? The world seems to be full of grumpy people, it's annoying,"

"I'm not grumpy, I just don't want to talk to you that much." Scarlet shrugged. "I did my math and my research. For you to have been Finn's kid that makes you over a thousand years old. You're dangerous and I don't like that."

"Ohh your scared of me? Really? That's quite funny." Malvolio laughed quietly, "I'm not that scary, really, I'm like one of those vampire bats that are just misunderstood but amazingly cool... I can't fly though, which is kind of annoying."

"No, but you're apparently rather psychopathic. And your sister is too. Seriously, just stay away."

"I only try to make spider armies, really, that's it. I can't think of one thing me and Violet have done to make us out to be pycho-pathetic." Malvolio frowned, grabbing her wrist, "Please... I want to be friends."

"What, friends until you get me back near Mystic Falls and turn me in?" Scarlet shook her head and tried to pull her wrist away. "I don't trust you, you can't make me trust you."

"I'm not like that, I'm not." Malvolio whined, pinning her against the wall gently so she wouldn't run away, "Please... I can only ever make human friends because of all these rumours and they always die or I have to leave because they start to notice things. Please trust me enough to at least try and be my friend? I've never had a friend other then my sister - do you realise how depressing that sounds?"

"Why me? Why choose me to be your friend?"

"Because you seem like you need one too,"

"I don't need anybody. I'm fine on my own."

"I've met lots of people that have said that but aren't, really,"

"If I weren't, I wouldn't have left my pack behind. I'm fine, go back to your sister or find someone else."

"Do me a favour and tell me why then?! Why the hell do people find it so hard to be friends with me, it's not like I'm broody, I'm cheerful, I made an effort to be cheerful and friendly." Malvolio whined

"Look, it's nothing personal. I just don't need any friends. Especially friends that are as old as the Originals and are in close contact with the guy I'm sired to."

"But that's not fair.. I can't help who I am.. I can't help who my family are." Malvolio whined softly, "I haven't told him yet, isn't that enough to make you trust me?"

"Yet. You haven't told him yet." Scarlet sighed, "You will eventually, or you'll slip up..."

"I've never slipped up, not once in my life have I slipped up. I won't tell him. I won't ever." He promised.

"He can compel you to do whatever he wants, I can't take that risk Malvolio. I'm sorry."

Malvolio bit his tongue to stop himself from pleading, not wanting to humiliate himself anymore. "Fine! I'll just compel a human. That's what I normally do. It's not so hard to actually make a friend, is it? The one friend I ever made Uncle Kol took from me, bet she was only using me so she could see him again too, and the ones before that, there were none. I see people all the time that are absolute idiots, complete idiots, all they do is amuse there friends and use them and hurt them and they have loads. I'm a nice person, I am, I offered to go against my Uncle for you, to help you, what more do you need then that. Can't you see how unbelievably lonely, I am, and now I'm just making even more of a fool of myself because none of this'll matter to you. It's almost like people want me to be an idiot to hate, almost like people want me to turn into the psycho-path me and Violet are made out to be."

Scarlet sighed and watched him for a minute or so with a frown. "You have the rest of tonight to try and convince me I need a friend. One night."

Malvolio let out a shaky sigh, letting his arms drop to his sides as he tried to calm himself down.

"But if I decide I don't need you, you have to let me go."

Malvolio didn't respond much muttering a quiet, "Whatever."

"Your persuading time has already started. You only have five hours until midnight,"
