"Oh stop it Nik, I've agreed to let her get out and make friends."

"With us watching her like a hawk. She won't make friends like that."

"And she may end up hurt if we don't watch her."

"And? We'll save her. She'll end up even more mentally hurt if we keep constraining her like this."

"And what happens if we can't save her Nik? What happens then?"

"You go talk to her, Tatia. You talk to her and ask her how she's feeling instead of telling her wha she can and can't do, actually talk to her! Go see how miserable she is." Klaus told her bluntly in response.

"I have Nik! And it makes me just as miserable as she is to see her like that, but I can't risk losing her!"

"Your going to have to!"

"I can't believe you are willing to risk it!"

"I just want her happy!"

"So do I!" Tatia countered, before sighing and looking away.

"Really? Because at the minute you're the one making her miserable "

"Now who's pinning who as the bad parent?"

"Everything I suggest to try and make her happy you shot down without even considering it. As long as she's albe there is a chance she'll be killed. It's like that for everyone so stop being so overprotective because that's what's making her miserable and you know it."

"Yes I do consider them Nik! Just like I've considered giving her exactly what she wants just so she's happy."

Klaus just glared at the floor.

"Looks like we've reached a stalemate."

"Mm." Klaus grumbled

Tatia sighed.

Klaus got to his feet and headed into his studio to paint.

Tatia moved as if to follow him in, but decided against it at the last moment and stayed where she was, figuring he wanted time alone.

Klaus just went back to his painting in silence.

Tatia sighed and stayed where she was a few minutes, before getting up and heading upstairs.

Klaus continued what he was doing.

"Ness?" Tatia said quietly as she went into her daughters room, sighing quietly and making a face when Vanessa ignored her. "Come on, you've talked to your dad, why wont you talk to me?"
