Tatia watched him go as she lifted Kiara up, gently trying to quieten her.

Klaus came back into the room after a moment and handed Tatia the bottle.

Tatia thanked him quietly before shifting the baby and feeding her, shifting her arm slightly to stifle a yawn.

KLaus sat down beside her once again, watching.

Tatia leaned against him, eyes flickering between both her daughters with a smile.

"You should head to bed and get some sleep, Tat,"

"I'm fine," She shook her head, "I can last,"

"You're exhausted."

"It's kinda what happens after you have a baby, I'll survive."

"I figured that, and yes you will be fine but you'll be fine quicker if you go and get some rest. Stop being so stubborn."

"I don't want to Nik, the last time we brought a baby home your mother came and attacked. I'm staying awake until I can convince myself that's not going to happen again."

Klaus just sighed deeply.

Tatia just continued to feed the baby, setting the bottle down after a few minutes and resting Kiara over her shoulder and gently rubbing her back. "I'm sorry I snapped," she said quietly.

"It's okay."

Tatia gave him a small smile

Klaus returned it.

After a few minutes, Kiara settled against Tatia's shoulder. "I like her best when she's sleeping, makes no noise." Vanessa said quietly, causing her mother to laugh.

"Ah, you've heard nothing yet, Ness, just waited until she cries.. .and cries.. and cries."

Vanessa frowned at that. "What if I can't sleep?"

"You'll cope," Klaus assured. "You'll get used to it."

"Hey, you were the one that wanted us to have a baby. You wanted all of this, we did warn you," Tatia reminded with a small laugh, causing Vanessa to just scowl.

"Cheer up Ness, when she's older you'll be able to sleep more or less normally again,"

"How old?"

Klaus shrugged before glancing to Tatia.

Tatia had drifted off against Klaus, managing to hold the baby in her arms still.
