Abigail picked the phone up, answering it and saying, "I'll get him for you now, give me a moment." she said into the phone before heading out of the bar with it and glancing around to figure out where he was

Klaus smiled as he watched.

"No. Don't. Just tell him I said goodbye. I'm actually glad it was you who answered the phone rather than him. I promised him I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye and this is it."

Vanessa worked at the wall, making a small noise of frustration when her rock went blunt.

"No, you stay on the phone and tell him, not me," Abigail replied, "Come on, he already feels bad, don't make him feel any worse." she sighed, heading into an alleyway by the bar to see if Kol was there."

"Tell me why I should care about that?" Olivia sounded sceptical. "Like seriously, what reason is there?"

"The fact it tore him to pieces when Esther made him choose who to save, you or Vanessa. How close you two were, how long you've been there for him and vice versa. If your leaving at least say bye to him, let him hear it from you and not from me." She replied, walking to Kol when she saw him, "Kol? Olivia's on the phone." she told him, offering his mobile to him.

Klaus handed her another one.

Kol dropped the girl and took the phone quickly, frowning a second later. "Nasty trick to pull there Abi."

Vanessa took it and began working at the wall again.

"It wasn't a trick, the idiot must of hung up on me." Abigail replied with a deep sigh, "I answered in case I couldn't find you in time, told her before I even knew it was her to wait a moment till I found you, she just told me to tell you she said Goodbye. I tried to convince her to actually tell you, instead of making me do it but obviously it didn't work. I'm sorry, Kol,"

Klaus watched.

After a few minutes, Vanessa was done. Taking a step back, she looked over it. "Is it accurate enough?"

Kol tensed at what she said, crushing his phone in his hand before launching it against a tree.

Abigail frowned deeply and just took a step closer to him, wrapping her arms around him in a hug without a word. The only things she could think to say to make him feel better she'd already told him.

Klaus nodded. "Perfect, Ness,"

Kol just stood there motionless, tensing up a little.

Vanessa smiled at that, "I'm glad I didn't get it wrong."

Abigail let her arms drop from around him and backed up a bit to lean against a tree trunk. "She'll come back eventually, Kol. Try and convince yourself of that, might make it easier."

Klaus just smiled.

Kol just shook his head and full on laughed for a minute or so. "Oh I'm so done with all this crap, I'm done with making an effort and trying to be nice and I'm done with all of this." he gestured towards the bar, and around him, before walking away.

"Not as neat as yours, but still."

Abigail frowned a bit, jogging after him. "Then so am I, I'm coming with you. Please let me."

Klaus laughed and picked her up, "It's just fine, Ness, don't worry,"

"Why?"

Vanessa nodded, "If you're sure."

"Because I like being in your company, because I doubt deep down you want to go off anywhere completely on your own forever. Because you never let me come anywhere with you, never did, and you'll have to let me eventually."

"I am," Klaus nodded

"Hopefully."

"Why will I have to let you? I don't have to do anything."

Vanessa smiled and ran her hands over the carving once more, before looking back up at all the others.

Jeremy sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her.

"I know," Abigail replied with a small sigh, "Forget that point, but the other ones are valid and your not telling me I can't come with you this time so I'll take it as a yes." she decided.

Klaus followed her gaze.

Vanessa frowned when her hand reached over a blank space. "This is hollow." she murmured.

"I'm telling you you can't come with me." Kol said blankly. "Now go before I compel you to."

"Kol," Abigail sighed, looking up at him and whispering, "How come she always got to? How come you let her be your friend but you wont let me?"

"Is it?" Klaus asked with a frown, knocking on the blank space and frowning, "Let's see what's on the other side, then,"
