The Vampire Diaries

In the morning, Tatia was curled up in the exact same position she'd been in the night before, not having being conscious to move when Klaus had snarled. She'd stopped bleeding, but there was still a considerable sized puddle of blood under where her head had been that had partially matted into her hair. She'd have been cold to the touch, despite the sun that was already beating down on them, and though she was still breathing, it was very shallowly.

Klaus blinked his eyes open in the morning with a groan, mumbling something on coherent under his breath and frowning deeply when he moved his arm around Tatia's waist and felt how could she was. Cursing at spotting the blood, whispering to her quietly, "Tat, wake up.. I done this, didnt I?"

Tatia was basically unresponsive to him, too out cold to hear his whispers.

Klaus groaned and said her name again, a little louder. Glancing around to make sure no one was on the beach before picking her up and heading to the beach villa. Placing her down on the sofa and putting some clothes onto his self. A moment later sitting on the floor beside the sofa next to Tatia.

Tatia didn't really change much, other than getting a little warmer once she'd been placed on the couch, and her breathing getting a little more regular.

Klaus got to his feet and left the room, a moment later coming back with a blanket and pillow. Lifting her head up and slipping the pillow beneath her head as covering her over with the blanket.

Tatia roused a little as he moved her head, blinking her yes open before squeezing them shut with a groan.

Klaus sat himself down beside her, brushing his fingers gently through her hair as he greeted quietly, "Hey,"

Tatia slowly opened her eyes to look at him, smiling slightly before she closed them again. "Y-you're okay. That's g-good." she got out as she weakly moved her hand to her neck with a wince. "Why did you t-turn? Why haven't I-I healed yet?" she asked him quietly, being very slow and faltering with her words as she spoke.

"Pounding head ache and achey but I'm fine." He confirmed quietly with a nod, "Exhausted too but you're more worse for ware then me." he added. Sighing at her question and just shrugging in response, "I don't know,"

"Its not your fault." She said quickly when he mentioned she was worse than he was. "You told me to go and I didn't,"

"I done it to you though."

"And if I'd have listened to you, you wouldn't have been able to. This is my fault for being stubborn Nik, don't you dare blame yourself." Tatia opened her eyes to look at him again, moving her bloodied hand from her neck to reach out for him.

Klaus moved away from her hand with a shake of his head, getting to his feet and heading into the bathroom. Coming back out with a damp towel and wiping the blood off of her neck with it gently. Handing it to her so she could wipe her own hands.

Tatia winced as he cleared her neck, though she desperately tried to hide it so Klaus wouldn't feel guiltier. She took the towel with a murmured thanks and slowly cleared her hands, still very weak from the blood loss to do it any faster.

Klaus just watched her, muttering a quiet, "I could of killed you,"

"But you didn't." Tatia deadpanned as she tried to move herself to sit up, muttering something about how she hated feeling so weak when this shouldn't even be possible.

"Why didnt I?"

"Some girl shot you with wolfsbane darts, I remember pulling them out of you so they didn't kill you… And that's it, that's where my memory ends."

"Lucky she was there, otherwise you would of dies." Klaus replied quietly, reaching to interlock his fingers with hers and squeeze her hand gently, "We should head back to Mystic Falls today, we're due back anyway and maybe we can figure out what's happening."

Tatia nodded and smiled greatly when he held her hand.

"Best start packing, 'suppose,"

"I don't think I'm gonna be much help, sorry." Tatia mumbled, ducking her head a little.

"Lets leave it for a few hours then." He decided, moving to sit beside her on the sofa and pulling her against him gently. Resting his head on hers and closing his eyes.

Tatia moved to instantly snuggled up against him as best she could. "IloveyouNik," she mumbled out, the phrase barely understandable as it came out muffled, due to Tatia losing consciousness again.
