The next morning, Violet awoke with a groan, looking even worse than she had the night before. She made a face when she realised she was still chained up.

"I gave up and drained the blood you refused to, got you this instead." Malvolio mused, throwing her a blood bag before greeting, "Morning, by the way,"

"Ugh, you're still here?" She sighed as she sat herself up, simply throwing the bloodbag back.

Malvolio caught it and threw it back, "You're seriously going to do this to yourself, Viol? Stop being so stubborn."

Violet simply threw the bag against the wall with enough fore to burst it. "Go away Mal, what's being here going to get you?"

Malvolio let out a deep sigh, pulling his phone out of his pocket without another word and texting Finn; Okay, I'm doing my best and nothing is working. Can you get off your arse and help now?

I already sent help out, should be there soon. Someone who can deal with all of this better than I can.

"You know, I'll desiccate soon, that'll suck for you."

Who? He text back with a sigh before looking up and telling her, "Dont make me force the blood down your throat, Viol,"

Kol, he's rerouting his trip to Russia.

"Dont even think about it."

"I'll do it if I have to." He replied bluntly before rolling his eyes and texting Finn back; You're pathetic sometimes. It isn't Kol's responsibility to come and help, it's yours.

"Time's like this I wish I could hate you."

Kol has faster tactics than I do when it comes to humanity.

"Go on then, hate me." Malvolio encouraged, "At least it's an emotion." before texting Finn a simple; Whatever. You're pathetic.

"I can't hate you, because I have no emotions." Violet rolled her eyes.

"But you want to hate me, that's something."

"I'm extremely pissed that I've had to leave Paris to come here and sort out my big brothers problems." Kol said as he stood at the top of the stairs at the entrance of the basement. "I'm going to do this the quickest way i can so I can get out of here." he seethed as he came down.

Violet rolled her eyes at his entrance, before quickly backing up when he suddenly broke the chains that were binding her.

"That pissed I may just kill you for it." Kol hissed as he picked her up by her throat and held her against the wall. "Or I may just kill Malvolio, that'd certainly hurt, if you cared that is."

Astrid followed Kol in silently, staying near the top of the stairs and watching.

Malvolio grimaced a little bit, watching.

Kol slipped a stake from his sleeve and pressed it into Violet, just narrowly missing her heart as his face vamped out and he threw her against the floor. "You can leave, if you fight me for it." he grinned as she pulled the stake out and tried to run past him, to only be backhanded by Kol and land flat on the floor again. Kol then reached down to pull her back up, and as she fought back they both ended up on the floor, fighting for a few minutes until Kol suddenly had a stake pressed right above her heart.

"Please, don't." Violet choked out, fear and worry clear in her eyes as she struggled away from him.

Kol just chuckled. "Fear's an emotion Violet, I thought you didn't have any of those?"

Malvolio sighed deeply, muttering a very quiet, "I can't even get my own sister to get her emotions back on... M'pathetic myself really." to himself.

"Fine, I don't kill you, I kill your brother." Kol said as he sped up and round to Malvolio, grabbing him and pressing the stake against his back, mumbling. "Go with it, I've got her basic emotions on and threatening you will turn the rest of them on." he twisted Malvolio's arm at an angel that would've looked painful, but was only slightly uncomfortable.

Malvolio forced himself to wince violently, struggling a little bit against Kol as he widened his eyes, tense.

"Don't hurt him!" Violet almost shouted when she looked up and noticed the position Kol had Malvolio in.

"Why? Why shouldn't I? It's not like you care is it?" Kol smirked as he pressed the stake a little harder

Violet just lowered her gaze to the ground then, not happy that she'd been forced to turn her emotions back on, and despising Kol for making it obvious she'd done so.

Kol suddenly shoved the stake into Malvolio's stomach and dropped him to the floor, rolling his eyes when Violet was instantly by his side, pulling the stake out and smoothing his hair down. "Job done, don't bother turning your emotions off any time soon or I wont bloody help." he warned before leaving the basement and then the cabin.

Malvolio winced when the stake was shoved into his stomach, coughing and glaring a little bit at Kol as he left. Muttering something incoherent under his breath.

Astrid followed Kol out.

"Stupid bastards, I swear they're like five year olds."

"Shh, you're okay, I got you." Violet mumbled softly as she continued to smooth down his hair, pulling him up to rest against her.
