The Vampire Diaries

Alarick was in the bathroom, trying to patch up a cut in his chest, he was shirtless and his jeans were undone suggesting that something had happened.

Anna was sitting on Alarick's bed, the blanket wrapped around her and she was cryng.

Jeremy knocked on the bathroom door, "Rick, are you okay?"

"I'm not trying to scare you, I'm telling you to get the hell out and stay away from my family." Tatia pushed her harder against the wall, shaking slightly with anger as she spoke.

"Uh...Yeah....Not really." He locked the door. "Don't come in dad."

Charlotte went to find Anna.

Jeremy frowned at that, "What happened, Alarick?"

"They are not you're family anymore then they are mine." Esther responded sharply.

"Tat," Klaus sighed, grabbing her arm gently and pulling her away from Esther.

"Anna stabbed him." Charlotte told him as she walked to him. "But she didn't know what she was doing, she's a young witch, her powers manifested during her heightened emotion of fear for us and what she was feeling for Alarick.

"She didn't do it on purpose!" Alarick shouted through the door.

"They chose me to be a part of this family, they were stuck with you and you died to them years ago when you tried to kill them!" Tatia raged before Klaus pulled her away, though she promptly ripped her arm away from him. "Don't 'Tat' me Niklaus!" she narrowed her eyes. "Why aren't you backing me up?!" she asked almost desperately, trembling as she wrapped her arms around herself.

"Okay, okay, I believe you Rick." Jeremy sighed, "Let me in, yeah? My blood'll heal you right up." he told him before looking at Charlotte and asking her quietly, "Have you given her Bonnie's number? Bonnie'll be able to help her."

"I still don't trust her, and she'll just keep trying if we kick her out again. We have no choice but to give her a chance."

Esther watched silently.

"I was coming to ask you for that, because I don't have it."

Alarick unlocked the door.

"A chance to what!? Work her way back into our lives and then just kill you? Or me, or Ness or Astrid or your siblings?!" Tatia protested before shaking her head and heading upstairs.

Jeremy just nodded and handed her his mobile before heading into the bathroom when Alarick unlocked it. Using a knife to cut his wrist before offering it to Alarick.

Klaus just let out a small sigh and watched her go.

Alarick done as Jeremy instructed.

"Well done, you're back all of five minutes and your managed to upset Tatia," Kol sighed, before wrapping an arm around Astrids waist and pulling her towards the door.

Jeremy moved his arm away when he had had enough and his wound had healed, "There,"

"I didn't do anything though," Esther sighed.

Astrid followed Kol quietly.

"Thanks dad." He smiled.

"You killed her! You're her worst bloody nightmare incarnate. I'm not the one married to her and even I know that!" Kol called back as he steered Astrid from the house.

"I was talking about in the last few decades, not all the way back then." She replied with a roll of the eyes.

"This isn't going to turn out well, is it?" Astrid asked Kol quietly with a small frown.

He headed back to his room where Charlotte was sitting on the bed with Anna who was lying with her head on Charlotte's lap.

"Not at all." Kol shook his head. "Don't know if you've worked it out yet, but your mom is pregnant. My mother showing up like this and stressing her out is going to endanger that, and it's going to put a strain on her relationship with Nik too."

Vanessa came down the stairs a few minutes later, spottin Esther and moving to hide behind Klaus' leg. "Why was mommy shouting at your mommy?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah she told me she was.. How do you know? She told me I was the first one they'd told." Astrid replied before giving a small nod, "Can sense the tension in there already."

Jeremy followed silently.

"Anna, come on baby speak to me." Alarick whispered as he knealt infront of her.

"I didn't mean to hurt you." She whispered.

Jeremy watched quietly.

Kol tapped his ear. "Babies have a heartbeat." he reminded her. "Id have said something to you but it wasn't my place to, plus I don't want to say anything and then jinx it for your mother."

"Is your mommy going to hurt us like she tried before? Has she hurt mommy and that's why she's being all wierd upstairs?" Vanessa asked quietly, shying away from Esther still. "She lied to me and told me she wasnt crying, but her face was all wet. I don't like people lying to me." she frowned.

"I know, and it's ok."

Klaus frowned deeply and whispered, "I really don't know, Ness," before lifting his gaze onto Esther.

"I'll come back tomorrow, I guess... When everyone is a little less hostile." Esther sighed, turning and heading out of the house without a word.
