Earlier than she usually let Nate sleep in, Vanessa crept into their bedroom and gently shook him awake with one arm, using her free one to support a tray of breakfast she'd made him.

Kol was fast asleep on top of the covers on his and Astrid's bed, too warm the previous night to get fully under the covers.

Tatia was making breakfast for the twins and Mia, trying to multitask keeping them occupied enough to not throw things as she cooked.

Nate intially began to complain about the early start, though blinked his eyes open and smiled brightly when he saw the food, sitting himself up a little bit and asking, a bit sleepily, "Now I won't get food poisoning, will I?"

Astrid had been awake for an hour or so now, and was now sat on her knees on the bed, shaking Kol awake gently as she grew impatient with waiting for him to wake up naturally before telling him.

Malvolio was sat on Finn's sofa, every so often glancing towards the front door quietly.

"Nope, course you won't." Vanessa grinned, placing the tray in front of him. "Now hurry up and eat it, and get dressed before you come into the room." she told him sternly, before heading out.

"Mmh." Kol groaned, before rolling over onto his back and opening his eyes with a whine. "What Asa?"

After a while, there was a loud bang as the door flew open, and a rush of wind as Violet rushed towards Malvolio with vampire speed, jumping onto him on the sofa and wrapping her arms around him.

Tatia was making breakfast for the twins and Mia, trying to multitask keeping them occupied enough to not throw things as she cooked.

Trinity: was sitting on the steps to her home cradling a small child of just a few months age on her lap. She had sent Fleur a text asking her to come over right away that it was important and now she was just waiting

Malvolio smiled brightly and let out a laugh, wrapping his arms around his sister and hugging her tightly, turning his face to bury in her hair gently as he whispered, "See, not going to let you abandon me that easily now, am I?"

Astrid just laughed quietly at his whine, "You're lucky I let you sleep the two hours I've been excited… You're going to be a father," she hummed softly lowering her head to kiss his forehead gently. "There is going to be a mini you and me running around."

Nate just raised an eyebrow at her, rubbing at his eyes before beginning to eat. After about thirty minutes wandering out of the room, eaten and in clean clothes though he still looked half asleep.

"Morning," Klaus greeted, wandering into the kitchen.

Violet hugged him back fiercely, staying silent as she shook with sobs against him, burying her face against his neck.

"Hey." Tatia said happily as she plated up everyone's breakfast and placed it in front of them. "Sleep well?"

Kol blinked a few times as he took in the news before smiling and moving to rest a hand on her stomach as he kissed her deeply.

As Nate walked in the living room, there was a loud chorus of 'surprise'. Vanessa had managed to get almost the entire pack to fly over and see Nate for his birthday. The only people missing were his sister and the younger members of the pack.

"Not really, couldn't get comfy." Tatia replied honestly as she walked to him.

Kol pressed his forehead to his, brushing his lips around her jaw and down her neck.

Vanessa walked over to him and slipped her arms around him; "Happy Birthday sweetheart." she said quietly, kissing him ever so softly. "I hope you like your surprise."

Trinity: Dnno if you seem it or heard about it but there was this car wreck earlier this morning...it went off the road down a hill and into the trees. I was feeding almost right where the car ended up and heard a loud crying afterwards...he was inside the car she told her friend quietly showing her a very small child of just a few months His parents were both dead and I couldn't just leave him there...

Astrid leant her head back to give him more room, making a small noise of content.

"I'm sorry." Violet whispered as she clung to him, keeping her face where it was.

"Don't worry, I'll probably fall asleep on the couch later." Tatia assured, resting a hand on her stomach quietly.

"You're welcome." Vanessa grinned, delighted he was happy. "Now go mingle and enjoy yourself, they're all here for you, they all missed you just as much as you've been missing them."

Kol pulled away slowly after a few minutes.

Violet cried against him for a good half hour, before she relaxed and fell silent.

Vanessa hopped up and sat on the kitchen counter as she watched him happily.

"You wanted the baby, your toy, you have to play with it." Kol laughed, moving to prop himself up on his elbows.

Violet snuggled against him, till she was laying with her head on his chest, curled up tightly as she closed her eyes and relaxed.
