Klaus walked to Vanessa with their luggage quietly, frowning when he saw the expression on his daughters face, "What is it?"

"Holly's in hospital, having emergency surgery... Nate only told me it was a wolf, I think she's been attacked." Vanessa whispered.

Klaus just nodded in response, "Lets head there then," he replied simply with a frown.

Trinity: looked down at the counter eventually getting herself a strong drink and drinking half

Vanessa nodded, heading outside and hailing a taxi, having gone into shock.

Klaus followed close behind her quietly, putting the suitcases into the boot before getting into the taxi quietly.

Malvolio glanced to her quietly.

Trinity: If you can get drunk then so can I, right?

Vanessa got in beside him, telling the driver where to go before leaning against her father heavily. "W-what if she doesn't make it dad? He said emergency surgery..."

Malvolio nodded.

"She'll make it, have faith in her. She'll make it." Klaus assured, wrapping his arms around her quietly.

Vanessa dissolved into tears the instant her father wrapped his arms around her. "She's gone through so much as a baby and me and Nate have put her through so much with us splitting up and now I'm going to lose her."

Trinity: I've tried to keep away from her for as long as I could...I should've walked back out when I noticed her...

"You're not going to lose her, Ness, you're not." Klaus whispered, smoothing her hair down soothingly and kissing the top of her head. "Just have a little bit of hope and believe in her, she's a little fighter."

"It's not your fault… I'd rather we get drunk and not talk about it."

Vanessa just exhaled shakily, still crying heavily.

Trinity: nodded her agreement and got them some more drinks pushing a tall glass towards him

He continued to silently smooth her hair down, doing his best to sooth her.

Malvolio downed half of it in one go as he normally did, though only waited half a beat before downing the rest of it.

Trinity: watched him quietly before pushing her own glass towards him without a word

Vanessa continued to lean against her father silently crying until the taxi stopped outside the hospital. Without another word she scrambled out and headed inside, looking around frantically.

Klaus paid the taxi driver before getting out and grabbing the suitcases. Following Vanessa into the hospital quietly.

Nate was sat in the waiting room, slouched back on one of the chairs with his head tilted towards the ceiling and his eyes closed. His hands on his forehead as he used his thumbs to rub small circles into the side of his head to try and keeping himself calm which clearly wasn't working as his foot tapped the clean floor of the hospital quickly in impatience and worry.

Malvolio downed that one without a word.

"What happened to her?!" Vanessa asked when she went into the room and saw Nate, "Where is she? Is she gonna make it?!"

"I don't know, we haven't been told," Nate replied sharply, "Sit down be quiet and wait, Vanessa," he told her, "What do you think happened, hm? It was a full moon last night." he whispered.

"You should've had someone with her, watching her!" Vanessa hissed, sitting herself down. "How could you let this happen? She's barely five years old Nate, leaving her on her own is stupid! Something was bound to happen!"

"The girl we had with her last time joined the pack officially about a week ago, there was nobody else to watch her." Ellie snapped at Vanessa, having just come back with a coffee for her and Nate, handing her brother his quietly.

Trinity: sighed softly watching him

"Daddy, that's where Mia lives, can I go and see her?" She asked, gently tugging Elijah's hand as they walked past Mia's place.

"I don't see why not, if your mother doesn't have any plans for you today."

"You should of found someone else then," Klaus replied sharply to Ellie, "You don't leave a five year old girl alone on a full moon. It was completely stupid and any permant damage or scarring she might have will be completely the fault of you and Holly's father. I'll be suprised if Ness'll let Nate see her again after this."

"Oh shut up." Nate grumbled, taking the cup from his sister and having a few sips of it.

Trinity: shifted slightly to rest her head on his shoulder
