"The greatest news I've received for years, my love," Leon hummed softly in response though he sounded rather distract, pressing a soft kiss to her neck. Within only a few moments, his face vamped out and his fangs went into her neck, his eyes closing as he began to drink her blood.

Kali gave a soft scream when he first bit in, struggling and pushing away from him. "Leon stop it! Please stop!" she cried. "What are you doing?!"

Caleb: nodded slightly

Matteo: pushed his plate away when he was done

Trinity: laid her head on his shoulder

Leon let out a sharp hissing sound then, moving his hands down onto her waist. Holding her there with a vice like grip as he tried to keep her still.

Mia watched quietly.

Malvolio watched her with a smile.

"Leon please! Our baby! Stop!" Kali continued to beg, though eventually she stopped begging and struggling and fell limp in his arms as her blood was drained away.

When she fell limp and he couldn't get anymore blood from her, Leon moved his head away from her cel and exhaled as his face returned to normal. Blinking his eyes open he frowned at noticing how limp she was, glancing to her and widening his eyes a bit as he realised what he had done, "Kali? My love, please be okay," he pleaded. Pulling her onto his lap and brushing her hair off her face as he rested his fingers on the side of her neck to check for her pulse, "I-I'm so sorry… I-I don't what happened… what's wrong with me. Please be okay, you have to be okay…"

"Why? I - I don't understand." Kali whispered, eyes blinking open to look at him. "Why?" she slurred once more, before she shuddered as her heart gave out and her eyes stared at him glassily. She was gone.

Caleb: got up then and paid the check before walking to Mia and holding his hand out to her and the other to Matteo Ready?

Matteo: got to his feet and took Caleb's hand quietly

Trinity: nuzzled her head against his neck lightly

Mia got to her feet quietly, hesitating before taking his hand without a word.

Malvolio closed his eyes with a quiet yawn, muttering, "I should probably go home… don't really want to but if I don't dad'll just use it against me somehow."

"Kali… come on back, my love. I'm so sorry, please come back…" He begged, silent tears escaping his eyes as he took her hand in his gently and squeezed her hand. Continuing to plead and apologise frantically for a few minutes before giving up when he realised she wouldn't come back. Hesitantly closing her eyes and taking her bracelet from her and putting it in his pocket. Lowering his head to press his lips to her forehead, moving his hand to rest on her stomach gently too before gently laying her down and leaving his home. Not knowing what else to do.

Trinity: Alright. Maybe you should um just try talking to him again in a few days... spend some time with your brother as well.

Caleb: sighed quietly looking at them both and walking down the block

((Awrh :'(... If you want, to move it back to present day you could say that Leon was dreaming about it, and he wakes up all shaken and upset? Unless you have any other ideas?))

Leon jerked awake rather suddenly, sitting himself up on the sofa he had fallen asleep on only an hour earlier and glancing around, disoritentated. His muscles tense as his grip on the edge of the sofa tight as he trembled slightly, breathing heavy.

Malvolio just gave a small nod in response, whispering, "I'll call you later, okay?"

"What's with the sigh?" Mia asked.

Vanessa, whom had been asleep beside him, woke up as he did, the movement jerking her from sleep. "Leon? What is it?" she asked, resting a hand on his shoulder and rubbing his arm gently.

Leon tensed up a little bit more at her voice before realising who it was and sighing softly. "Nothing…" He whispered, a faint tremor to his voice, "Go back to sleep, Ness,"

Trinity: Sure. she smiled softly pressing a kiss to his cheek and then slipping off his lap

Caleb: Just thinking, nothing to worry about. Matty run up ahead and pick a movie.

"No, there's something wrong I can tell. What happened? Did you have a nightmare, what was it?" Vanessa asked, voice full of concern as she watched him.

"Tell me," Mia encouraged gently.

Malvolio got to his feet quietly and pressed a kiss to her lips before leaving.

"Mm, a nightmare. That's all it was…" Leon whispered quietly in response, leaning back a little and moving his hand to his other wrist, brushing his thumb against the bracelet that was there. "She told me she was pregnant, you know… right before I lost it. If it were only her I had killed I don't think I'd have nightmares about it every so often, I think I would of been able to tell myself I couldn't of helped it but it wasn't just her i killed, it was my unborn child too…"

Matteo: shook his head I'm kinda sleepy.. I'd rather just go back home and go to sleep...

Caleb: sighed and nodded at Matteo not even bothering to question the boy and picked him up carrying him back the way they'd came It's nothing Mia, really.

Trinity: kissed him back watching him leave

Vanessa looked a little confused, before she realised whom it was Leon was talking about. "Oh honey." she whispered, pulling him into a hug. "You couldn't have helped it, their deaths aren't your fault. It's whoever turned you and didn't bother explaining things to you or help you feed. You're not to blame." she soothed. "What was her name? You never told me..."

Mia frowned and followed him quietly, not saying a word in response.

"Kali." Leon replied quietly, sliding her arms around Vanessa and buried his face in the crook of her neck. Moving his hands up into her hair quietly.

"Dad? Sage? Cam? Anyone here… or awake?" Malvolio called quietly as he entered his home.

"I'm in here." Finn said quietly from where he was sat in the living room, in his lap was a large flat envelope, with several smaller others rested on the top, and he was currently reading a letter.

"It's a beautiful name, I'm sure she was stunning." Vanessa said quietly, rubbing his back. "And I'm sure she knows you didn't do it on purpose, and she's forgiven you."

Caleb: carried Matteo back home and brought him inside putting him down where Matteo then ran off to his room. Sighing he looked at Mia What would you like to do now?

"What you reading?" He asked quietly as he wandered into the livingroom, sitting himself down beside him quietly.

"She was perfect, so perfect." Leon whispered, voice hitching slightly in the back of his throat. "I don't think so… if they can't see us - where humans go then she blames me because she was so scared and confused… betrayed.  I remember trying to stop every time she pleaded and begged but I just couldn't…. The last thing she ever said to me was asking me why and then she was gone… and it was all my fault."

Mia shrugged a little bit, "I don't know.… are we like, dating now then or…"

Caleb: If you want us to be.

"Your sister sent a bunch of letters inside the big envelope, one for each of us, even Sage. And a note; Only read if you think I'm dead, ps, don't bring me back. I decided to read mine now, since she may as well be dead for all I'm gonna see her." Finn handed Malvolio an envelope. "Feel free to read yours too."

"No Leon, it wasn't all your fault. It wasn't and I'm sure she understands that you didn't mean to do it. And you would've been an amazing father to your baby."
