"Mm? And what would those be?"

"He never had to pay out in hostage situations considering the hostage couldn't die." Jace shrugged. "I was pretty good cannon fodder too. I can take a shot pointblank between the eyes with a gun big enough to take down an elephant. He used that. Jake was good for big and intimidating. I made people question their mortality. Used to scare the shit out of people because I don't bleed no matter what you do. S'too quick. Until recently, I forgot I could bleed to be honest."

"Lucky bastard, wish I didn't bleed, it'd make paper cuts a lot less annoying." Maria smirked and turning round a corner, stopping dead when she did.

"Isn't as fun as it sounds." Jace stopped beside her, hands loosely clasped together behind his back.

"That," Maria pointed towards a black, expensive looking car a way down the street, "Is my dads, he's here already, just getting here by the looks of it." she mused as a tall dark haired man got out. "I'll see if I can get you in and up to see Ray first. Shouldn't be hard as long as he doesn't suspect anything."

"Men who want to feel powerful always go for the car that looks both impressive and intimidating." Jace straightened up and then relaxed his posture with a sigh. "Do what you can. I'm not expecting miracles, I'd just like to see her, last time or not."

"He doesn't even drive it, I think I've driven it more times than he has." Maria rolled her eyes a little as she started walking towards him. Lifting her hand to her mouth she made a high pitched whistle, causing her father to turn around and look at her.

"Ria! Where've you been?" He greeted in Bulgarian, sounding rather irritated. "You were supposed to be here."

"Ray's friend called, wanted to see her, moral support and that." Maria responded, switching over languages easily.

"Ah, the vet. Well unless you can bring a dead animal back to life you'll probably be of no use. She's out cold again." He wrinkled his nose a little at Jace, clearly not seeing through the guise he'd donned.

Jace nodded stiffly yet politely in greeting, choosing not to speak unless spoken to first.

"What do you mean she's out cold again?" Maria frowned, looking up when a girl that could only have been her twin got out of the car carrying a baby that could've only been a few weeks old at the most, which was almost roughly shoved into Maria's arms as the girl stormed into the house.

"I mean apparently she wont wake up. Complained about a headache then blacked out. Though from what research I've done this is all supposedly normal when a familiar is lost in a violent way."

"Well I'd class shooting the thing as violent." Maria rolled her eyes, before turning her attention to the baby, which was obviously her son.

Jace silently waited until Maria was ready, hands still clasped behind his back. Every now and then he would fiddle with the bracelet but other than that, made no visible movements.

"Can I take him up to see Ray?" Maria asked quietly.

"Feel free, but you won't get a response, not a decent one anyway. I want the baby back before you leave, can't trust you to not leg it with him." He replied, waving her away as he headed inside the closest house. Maria waited until he'd gone in, before she followed quietly.

Jace briefly hesitated and then followed Maria.

Maria led him up a set of stairs, flinching when her sister came out across the hall. "You're stupid, you know that. I could tell from the second I saw him - " she gestured towards Jace. "That he wasn't Karl. You stupid bastard." she hissed, before leaning over and grabbing Jace's wrist, snapping the bracelet from it.

"You could have asked politely. That bracelet could have been difficult to make and you went and broke it." Jace's fingers briefly twitched before he managed to rein his power in. It had fluctuated when the bracelet had been snapped, since it had startled him. He was staring at her hand on his wrist.

"You're a complete idiot, you really think that if I could tell that dad can't?" She sighed, looking towards her sister as she moved her hand from Jace's wrist, taking the bracelet with it.

"He saw me from a distance. I didn't speak to him or look at him long. He barely glanced in my direction, I don't see how he would tell he difference. Though, if you're threatening to tell him, I might take it personally." Jace rubbed his wrist against his shirt, clearly glad to have the bracelet removed.

"Oo, scary." She said dryly, narrowing her eyes.

"I'm not here to start any fights, I just want to see Raine. Perhaps leave without mishap too. I'm just trying to be civil. Besides, from what I've heard about the man, I assume nobody wants to get your father involved."

"The only people who complain about my dad are the one's he's spoiled. Talking about biting the hand that feeds."

"You were bitching about him the other day, just walk away Michaela, you saw nothing."

"Isn't as if what we're doing is going to affect you if you plead ignorance." Jace shifted his weight slightly. "Though I'm not comfortable being out in the open like this, when anyone could turn a corner and see."

"Yeah, it is. You go in there and my dad finds out you were in there I'll be in the crap for it!"

"Just walk away."

"It's not my best area, but I can make you forget we were here," Jace offered quietly. "You can't be at fault for that - he'll assume you were attacked."

"You try to do anything with my mind and I'll scream." Michaela warned, before turning to her sister. "I get caught and I get a slap on the wrist, you get caught and you lose your kid. Think fast." she told her, before shoving past Jace and heading downstairs.

"My, isn't she pleasant," Jace muttered, mostly to himself.

"Takes after my dad, and todays one of her better days."

((btw, I know it's kinda irrelevant but I finished watching all of what's out of Teen Wolf ^^ I remember you saying ages ago you watched it and were thinking about making an RP based off of it :') ))
