"Unless you go as far as to sacrifice but yeah, magic is pretty lethal to a point. Some people have heart palpitations from even apprentice spells when they should be at a journeyman level."

I think Madia came here on her own and I think Cassius is still clinging to the fact that she can magic up some stupid fucking off switch. Last I heard she wants to shut the wolf out and she'll go down that path if she wants her throat ripped out."

"It's not even really limitless with sacrifice anyway, that just opens more doorways. You fuck with a demon though, and you get close to limitless. You lose your soul and your life about two days later but hey, two days of unlimited power."

And there's tree's around here, thousands of them in the forest. Nobody will notice if you fell a few. Or if you don't mind hitting a girl, I have boxing gloves, gumshields and head guards in my room. We could put on a set each and start a boxing match."

Cedrick moved to his feet, glancing down the corridor at Cassius' room briefly before he walked out after her.
