Caleb: gave her hand a small squeeze as he finished eating before getting to his feet and cleaning up

"I don't know how to help though, and I'm sorry for that. She's stubborn... defiantly your daughter." She tried to joke lightly, lifting her hand up to brush her fingers through his hair caringly. "Like I was telling you earlier, I'm here for you okay?"

"Ness can run off to Hawaii, come back as a wreck, get pregnant by the guy who destroyed her and then after a while be with someone else and they're fine with it, Mia can be with some werewolf bloke that they've had warnings to keep an eye on and they're fine with it but they don't approve of me being with you? They're pathetic. She's pathetic." Henrik hissed, shoving his fists through one of his walls. "It's like if your not a complete and utter tear away in this f**king family they drive you to be one by acting like you're the worse thing in the f**king world."

"Hey hey, calm down." Dakota soothed softly, getting up and grabbing his hand, clasping her own around it gently. "I'm sure they weren't fine with your sister running away and coming back a mess, I bet it upset them, like I'm sure it upset them that your sister went off with a werewolf they disapproved of... I've given them reason to dislike me Henrik, lots of reason."

"None of it has been your choice though! You never choose to be a hunter, not really, you were born into it like I never choose to be there f**king child and some hybrid freak." Henrik hissed, "It's pathetic and old fashioned. It's exactly like judging someone by their skin colour or one of the really shallow things like that that just aren't right. You were scared, they gave you reason to get scared that's the only reason you bloody hurt them and they don't trust me. She doesn't trust me enough to even bloody speak to you."

Astrid let out a deep sigh and pulled him gently so he was laying on his side and facing her, rolling onto her own side she pressed her forehead to his and just studied his face as she brushed her fingers through his hair soothingly. "It's not your fault, pretty boy, nothing to do with her is your fault. You loved her to bits, you still do, it's just her who can't see that."

"I heard Rik, and I agree with what she said. What would talking to me change? It wouldn't change the past, it wouldn't change how your father's going to feel and it wont change the situation."

"You thought she was dead, Kol, you couldn't do anything if you didn't even know she was still around. As for whilst she's been here, you've done your best. You've spoken to her quite a lot, or tried to, it's been her that's not be letting you get to know her really." Astrid whispered, voice soft as she pressed her lips to the tip of his nose gently.

"Sometimes I can see why Uncle Elijah wants nothing to do with us, why Malvolio choose that girl over family." He grumbled, before muttering, "You decide what to do then, since no one seems to be coporating with my attempts of fixing this over than you."

"I don't want to come between you and your family..."

Astrid let out a small sigh and muttered, "It'll break my heart if you turn out like Finn because of Eri making you feel like this, pretty boy, no offense to your brother of course since it isn't his fault but you get my point."

"I'll never refuse to talk to the boys, don't worry."

"How about I go away for a few days, just a few days, let you try and convince your mother with me not around? Don't forget she's grieving, this can't be easy for her..."

"She's not the only one though," Henrik hissed a little bit before grumbling quietly, "Do what you want, I suppose..."

"I know you wouldn't, but that's not why I don't want you like that." She whispered, "Just because I wouldn't be able to cope with seeing you so miserable for so long, this has been hard enough if I'm honest. I don't see how Sage hasn't ended up in tears yet because of it, if I'm honest, I wouldn't be able to not cry if you were that low emotionally for years and years. I'd always be here for you, no matter how long it would take for you to start smiling again but I don't know if I'd be able to keep smiling myself is the point I'm trying to make, I guess,"

"I'll leave for a few days, give you time to win them round." Dakota nodded, leaning up a little and kissing him before slipping out the window.

Henrik watched her go before sighing deeply and leaning his head back against the wall quietly.

"Mm'sorry, I made this about me didn't I? Who's being the terrible spouse now, huh?" She asked with a humourless laugh, kissing him back gently.

"No offence Tatia but if you're planning on doing one of these all the time like you did when Klaus died then my advice is this - don't. It just depresses everyone to get together and remember that Ness is gone, let people grieve in their own time." Rebekah told Tatia gently as she walked past her.

Tatia sighed with a small roll of her eyes, "That's not why I told everyone to come here, it's not about being depressing, it's about celebrating the life she lived..."

Hope and Adrian were on the floor, playing with a pack of cards, Kol watching over them, whilst Kira was sat next to her father watching Lucas in his arms with a quiet demeanor.

"Nothing," Mia mumbled, getting to her feet and deciding quietly, "Lets head to my parents place now, hm? See what is happening, why they want me over there."

"Don't have an opinion on anything, Auntie Bekah, you'll be accused of disrespecting her." Henrik mumbled from his spot on the sofa, "But I agree with you. It's depressing, it makes it hurt more, it's completely pointless."

"Henrik," Klaus said warningly, "Enough of the attitude."

Adam was sat next to his brother, seeming rather annoyed that he hadn't been dealt into the game though still watching rather intensely.

Astrid was stood next to Kol, leaning into him a little bit and watching Adrian and Adam.

"Like you even grieved in the first place." Kira shot at her brother, "You don't even care that Ness died, you've just been sulking over losing your girlfriend! More upset that you lost her than your own big sister."

"You're over thinking it." Hope told Adrian quietly, who just grinned and shook his head before laying his cards down, a winning hand compared to Hopes.

Caleb: Yeah sure. he answered drying his hands on a towel Want me to drive?

"You don't know, just because I didn't - don't - walk around wailing like you do doesn't mean I'm not grieving." Henrik hissed.

Adam watched quietly.

Adrian grinned as she took the winnings from the center of their space - which was mostly sweets with a few coins thrown in - and halved it out between him and Adam, handing Adam's half to him with a smile.

"You didn't cry because you didn't care!"

"I didn't cry because I'm not a baby like you!"

"Both of you stop, people grieve in different ways Kira - whether it be silently or not. Henrik stop being horrible to her." Klaus told them sharply.

Adam muttered a quiet thanks to his brother and just ate the sweets he'd been given.
