Vanessa didn't notice, she was too busy watching L.j who was slyly preparing another forkful to throw.

Eri gently pushed him back down onto the bed before peppering his neck with light kisses.

"How am I supposed to act?" Dakota asked quietly. "I only for like four days last time where I was in a normal place and not being pumped full of vervain." She mumbled. "I don't know how I'm supposed to act… is there anything I shouldn't be doing? Eating? Am I supposed to tolerate people touching my belly like they always do in tv?"

"I wouldn't go back to Greece," Leon whispered.

Karl leant his head back to give her more room.

"Act however you want," Henrik whispered, "You could talk to Astrd, Ness and my mum about what you should and shouldn't eat, I guess, I have no clue."

"Hmm?" Vanessa said, turning her attention to him before she realised what he'd said. "I know, I was joking honey, I know you wouldn't." She said softly, taking hold of his hand gently.

"I- uh, I love you." Eri whispered, shifting to properly face him. It wasn't something she said to him much at all. And she always choked herself whilst saying due to how hard it was for her to say and admit.

Dakota just nodded a little at that, "I guess I don't mind you touching, but I've seen strangers try to touch other women before… I wouldn't like that, it's creep me out."

Henrik just gave a small nod in response to that.

"Mm, didn't sound like it." Leon replied doubtfully before finishing the last of his food and turning his attention onto L.J.

Karl smiled and rested his hand on her cheek, whispering, "I love you too,"

"I know I don't say it much but I do Karl. You mean a lot to me, and I'm grateful that you choose me to spend your time with."

Lj was aiming his spoonful of food at Karina.

"Rik?" Dakota asked quietly, "do you hate me? For acting like she wasn't there?"

"No," Henrik replied instantly, "I don't hate you, don't hate you at all. It annoyed me, scared me too, but that's all really."

"L.J." Leon snapped, "Don't even think about it."

Karl just pressed a deep kiss to her lips.

"I'm sorry... I was scared, I know it's a pathetic excuse but… Im sorry..."

L.J jumped violently, not used to his father snapping. He dropped his spoon on the floor and gazed down at it, his bottom lip trembling as he tried not to cry.

Eri kissed him back just as deep, moving a hand into his hair.

"I don't like yelling L.J, but you need to listen." Leon sighed, getting to his feet and picking L.J up. Hugging him quietly and whispering, "It's not nice to throw food, especially not at your sister."

"I know, I know don't worry," Henrik whispered.

Karl pulled her top over her head as he kissed her.

"Hope said you wanted to feel and talk to the baby, you can do that if you want, I don't mind." Dakota mumbled.

L.J said nothing, holding onto his father tightly and trembling a little from the shock.

Eri laughed a little at that. "Eager, aren't we?" she hummed.

Leon sighed deeply, bouncing him up and down gently and kissing the top of his head.

Henrik just gave a small nod in response to that, driving silently now.

"Mm, you like it really."

"You don't feel the slightest bit awkward with our parents in the next room and the kids that deem our relationship as 'weird' in the room below?"

Dakota sighed a little and looked out of the window.

"Why does he get hugs when he's been naughty! That's not fair!" Karina protested after a few minutes, "Really not fair!"

"Whatever," Karina muttered, stabbing at a carrot with her fork.

Leon placed L.J back down on his chair after a moment or two and crouched down beside Kari, pulling her into a hug.

Henrik drove silently, about five minutes later pulling over outside their home.

Karina instantly hugged her father back tightly, burying her face against him.

Dakota got out and headed inside.

"Soooo?" Hope asked with a grin, perched on the sofa waiting for them to get home.

"They're eighty percent sure it'll be a girl," Henrik replied cheerfully to his sister

"I'm excited to see your play next week Kari," Leon told her quietly, "You said you got the part of an angel, right?" he asked as he held her close.

"Yeah." Karina nodded, "The bestest angel! And I gets to sing!"

"So there is one there then, mm?" Hope grinned, which just earned her a dirty look from Dakota whom went upstairs.

"Mum said that too, and grandpa, he said he'd come!"
