Dakota was currently in the shower, though she'd left their laptop open on the bed, showing that she'd been on a clothes website looking for maternity wear since she didn't have much left that fit her.

"But grandpa taught mum loads of stuff about when he was growing up..."

"That you walked around in dresses called toda's and you wore sandals on your feet and lived in stone and sand houses..."

Dakota came out a few minutes later, wrapped in a towel. When she noticed Henrik she jumped a little.

"Stone and sand houses she's right about, the sandals - only some did, I preferred bare footed most of the time. As for the toda's, some did but only the very very rich people. The rest of us were normal."

"Hey," Dakota gave him a small smile, grimacing when she realised he was looking at the laptop. "Nothing interesting, I just need new clothes." she mumbled quietly.

"I'm pretty sure they were called togas, not todas Kari." Vanessa laughed at that, and Karina just stuck her tongue out.

Dakota smiled at him, shifting the laptop before moving to sit next to him.

"Maybe three?"

"You're pushing it Kari." Vanessa warned with a chuckle.

Kol knocked quietly on the door and headed inside, grimacing a little when he saw Eri and Karl curled up together.

Eri muttered something and pulled away from Karl, pulling the blanket up to cover her chest as she sat up. "What Kol?"

Henrik wrapped his arms around her.

Karl blinked his eyes open and grimaced, watching Kol silently.

Dakota smiled and snuggled into him, tucking her head under his chin.

"Adrian told us what Karl offered earlier, about him going away with you… Me and Asa were thinking that maybe we could all go away together? It could be nice."

Eri said nothing, turning to Karl for his opinion.

"We only invited Adrian, and Adam though we haven't got around to talking to him." Karl whispered with a frown, "But.… I suppose…" he glanced to Eri.

Leon nodded.

Henrik held her close.

"I wanna name her Eleanor, if that's okay with you..." Dakota whispered quietly, closing her eyes.

Eri just shrugged and reached over to the side to grab Karls shirt, pulling it on before getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

Kol watched her go with a grimace.

"Eleanor's a nice name," Henrik nodded, "We can call her Ellen or Ellie for short then, hm?"

"Why is it you want to come with us?" Karl asked Kol quietly, "All you've done is try to break us up. How do we know this isn't another plan to do that."

"Kari, you go put your bath on and then you and L.J can decide which stories you want your daddy to tell you." Vanessa told them gently.

Karina nodded and wriggled out of her fathers hands and raced upstairs with her little brother.

"Because we haven't gotten to spend much time with either of you. Your mother and I miss the both of you, and if spending time with you both means we have to suck it up and put up with your relationship then we're willing to do it."

"Adrian isn't happy with anyone around here, and I imagine Adam isn't either. That's why we only invited them, to cheer them up. Adrian is angry at you and mum for forcing him to come out of college, for mum naming her father after only one of them, angry at both of you for bing nothing more than replacements for me and Eri in his mind."

Leon watched them go.

Henrik nodded.

Kol sighed deeply at that. "Adrian's been angry with his name choice since he learned what your grandfathers name was. He's had it explained to him a million times that we don't love him any less because of his name. As for the replacement thing, he's been told about that too. And as for him being moved out of colllege, that's just to keep him safe."

"She might as well have your last name too..."

Vanessa walked up to Leon and gently kissed the back of his neck.

"Mm, we should start organising the wedding for after she's due." Henrik grinned, "Then you can be a part of my family officially. Me, you and Eleanor will be the best part of the Mikaelson family."

Leon made a small noise of content.

"Well you talk to him again about it, he doesn't seem to understand."
