Bjorn grinned and continued to spar with him.

"I miss you so much when I leave Asa." Adam sighed.

"And if he beats you to the point of death? Makes up a lie as to what actually happened?" Klaus whispered, "I do not want to end it, of course I don't. I just hate you getting so hurt because of me, and me not being able to do anything about it."

Malvolio laughed as he did so.

Bjorn soon dropped his sword after a side glance from Malvolio clipped his wrist, making him lose grip of the sword.

Klaus just nodded a little bit as he listened to her.

"How many years do I have to be until I can join you when you go away? I wanna go. I could look after myself, I just beat you as proof!"

"In three years I shall take you. You will be old enough then. Three years."

"And we live in a big house that's big enough for all our grandchildren to come and visit, and we grow old together, and have happy lives." Tatia whispered, though she soon gave a bitter laugh. "But it is impossible, for I am married. And I cannot have another child since Astrids birth destroyed my body. The healers told Adam as much but he still insists on trying for a son, and then he beats me when I do not conceive..."

"Good." Adam laughed. "Now you go play and let me know when you get tired, mm?"

"One day I shall challenge that man to a sword fight and strike him a fatal blow so he can never hurt you again." Klaus mumbled.

Astrid just gave a nod and slid off of his lap, wandering off to find someone to play with.

Adam watched her, laughing quietly when he saw that Violet had fallen asleep in a heap beside her mother.

"And by then no man will be a match for you, if you carry on going this way you shall be a legendary warrior."

"I hope you do," Tatia admitted. "But I will be a useless wife to you, I have already told you I cannot conceive again."

"Children is not the reason I wish for you, I simply desire to be with you in something that is not secrecy." Klaus whispered with a sigh, "If it wasn't for your child with him I would of gotten rid of him long ago."

Malvolio smiled brightly.

Alfdis lifted Violet onto her lap and smoothed her hair back off of her face gently with a smile.

"If he had not cut her with that sword I would not allow you to kill him. But he did and now I live in fear that he will harm her again."

"Come, back inside to your mother and sister." Bjorn said, heading back inside.

Violet dropped a handful of jewels on the floor in her sleep.

Malvolio nodded and trailed inside after his father, grabbing the jewels off of the floor that Violet had dropped and handing them to his mother.

"Can we go home now?" Astrid asked Adam quietly after a few moments, reaching out to hold his wrist silently.

"How soon do you wish me to challenge him?"

"I think we should take the children home." Bjorn mumbled when he saw Violet.

"Only when you are sure you will beat him." Tatia whispered, kissing his cheek. "But for now I think you should go, you've lingered too long my love.

"Of course sweetheart." Adam nodded, picking her up and heading out.

Klaus just let out a sigh and nodded, pressing a final, sweet kiss to her lips as he got to his feet.

Astrid rested her head on his shoulder when she was picked up

"I do not want to go home yet, want to practise with the weapons more." Malvolio replied with a small frown.

"Your sister needs to go to bed, Malvolio," Alfdis replied quietly, getting to her feet , "We need to go home."

Tatia watched him before curling up under the covers once more.

"To make up for it I'll take you hunting the day after next with the rest of the men, mm?" Bjorn compromised as he picked Violet up. "Your first hinting trip."

Adam headed out quietly, humming to her to help her fall asleep.

Astrid soon drifted off to sleep.

Klaus let out a small sigh before headed to the front door.

Bjorn nodded and headed out towards his own house, placing Violet on hers and Malvolios bed when he got in.

Adam missed seeing Klaus as he was too busy concentrating on Astrid, placing her in bed and tucking her in when he got home before kicking his boots off and getting in next to Tatia, shaking her 'awake' roughly.

Malvolio watched quietly from where he was.

"There is to be a hunt the day after next." Adam told Tatia. "I shall be going. If I hear that you have so much as looked at Mikael's sons whilst I have been gone you will face consequences, and so will they. I'll not have you doing anything in front of my daughter again." he hissed sharply before rolling over under the covers and going to sleep.

"Go on, to bed Mal. You'll be up early in the morning so I can teach you how to prepare the dogs for a hunt." Bjorn said, ruffling his sons hair and kissing him on the forehead.

Bjorn watched them before heading after Alfdis.

Violet snuggled up to her brother when he got into bed. "Do you wan one of my crowns? We can play together then..." She asked sleepily.
