"Just making sure you're okay, Rian," Astrid replied, sighing at his tone. "Remember the hunters threats from before? They just fulfilled the one on your brother…. He'll be okay, so don't worry about that…"

"M'fine. I'd let you know if I werent."

"Unless you couldn't, which is why I'm checking…"

"Well I've answered, I'm fine. You done?"

Trinity leaned against him resting her head back down on his shoulder.

"Adrian cut it with the attitude, we phone so much because we worry and we care. You could at least appreciate that." Astrid replied with a hiss.

Malvolio kissed the top of her head.

She smiled lightly.

"What are we going to organise for Saff's birthday?"

"No, it's because you're a pair of interfering old saps that have nothing to do with your own lives." Adrian hissed before hanging up.

"Well she loves the lake so I was considering having a party there for her if you think it wouldn't be to cold?"

Astrid flinched at her sons words, staring at the phone for a few moments before calling Eri.

"Mm what? We're kinda busy." Eri mumbled as she answered her phone.

"Just making sure you and Karl are okay… the hunters have hurt Adam , like they threatened they would a while ago so they clearly haven't let it go."

"We're fine, we're out shopping."

"Okay, just be careful both of you, okay?"

"We'll be in a public place, we're fine."

"Okay, call me if anything happens." Astrid replied before hanging up and getting into the car.

"Yeah," She whispered, "Just fine…. Rian called us old saps that have nothing ping on out our lives so we keep phoning him and Karl and Eri are out shopping."

Kol just grimaced at that as he started driving.

Astrid just glanced over her shoulder to Adam before getting out of the car when they were home and heading in ahead to get a few bloodbags.

Kol headed in after her, grimacing a little when he saw his daughter curled up to Karl on the couch.
