Lilliana brushed her thumb against his cheekbone soothingly as she listened.

"Are you excited for the childs arrival?"

"Very. I enjoy being a mother, watching our son grow each day is amazing. Are you, my love?"

Lucian just shook his head then, unable to continue.

"It is okay." Lilliana soothed gently, "Tell me Luca, continue..."

"Business is doing well, and there is no talk of war this time either so yes, I am." Vladomir replied with a nod.

Rhaenys grinned at that. "I'm so glad, it pleases me greatly."

"There is not much more to tell."

"What aspects of it scared you the most Luca?" Lilliana asked after a few moments of silence.

"I am glad," Vladomir smiled.

"Not being able to return home to my family."

"I love you, Vladomir."

"So what do you think is still making you have these dreams, if your main fear has already been put to rest as you are home now?" She asked gently.

"I love you too, Rhaenys,"

Rhaenys smiled and rested a head on his shoulder.

"No idea, not a clue."

"Maybe you need a herbal remedy to help relax you before sleeping?" Lilliana suggested quietly, sliding her arm around his shoulders.

Vladomir smiled at her.

"Perhaps we should head home now?"

"It may help." Lucian nodded.

"I am sorry you had to go through such a thing in the first place, Luca," Lilliana whispered, "War is an awful thing, but you are safe now. Just as I told you the first night you returned, and woke close to screaming. It must of truly been awful if it is still effecting you after so long has past, you have nothing to fear anymore."

Vladomir nodded, "Yes, lets,"

Rhaenys nodded and looked over her shoulder. "Christopher! Come now!"

"I just hope I shall never have to do it again. I'm not strong enough to..."

"I believe you are," Lilliana whispered quietly, "You never give the impression you are not strong. If you ever go through it again you have to be strong enough to, at least enough to return, because of Lucinda."

Vladomir followed her gaze to Christopher.

Christopher came running when called.

"I shall try my best, that I promise."

"Let us not think too far into the future, I am sure there will not be another war for a long while. I am sure your concerns are not necessary."

Vladomir smiled before beginning to walk.

Christopher took his fathers hand as he walked.

"I hope that's the truth of it, my lady."

Lilliana frowned and rested her hand on his cheek gently, kissing him on the lips gently in comfort. "You are brave, Lucian, and strong. Perhaps I have not complimented you enough since your return, you have to be courageous to fear so much and yet go anyway, you have to be strong to not be only the shadow of the man you were like I imagine most came back like."

Lucian just kissed her back deeply in return.

"Papa, can we get some dogs like Uncle Luca's?"

"If they are well behaved around the horses than we can certainly look into it." Vladomir confirmed with a nod.

Lilliana matched her kiss to his.

Christopher grinned at that.

Lucian gently pushed her back onto the bed.

Lllilliana laughed softly.

"Why do you want wish for dogs?"

"They make good friends..."

Lucian softly kissed down her neck.

Lilliana leant her head to the side to give him more room.

"Ah," He replied gently in understanding.

"And they're warm and fluffy and soft."
