"I could go now while you get ready for Eridan, no doubt you probably want his bedroom to be sorted out."

"That sounds like a good idea." Feferi stretched again, with a pleased groan, and then she stood, stepping away from him to find her clothes.

He watched her, before he also got up and got dressed. "Maybe tonight I can make it more romantic for me, and not as feral." He told her playfully as he came up behind her kissing her neck from behind.

"Romantic? Are you going to scatter rose petals all over the bed and light candles everywhere?" Feferi asked, amused, and then her voice softened, as she added, "Whatever it is, I can't wait." She twisted to face him, pressing a soft kiss under his jaw. "I'm going to sort out Eridan's room."

He kissed her back. "Alright, I'll go and 'talk' with Hera."

"If that means subtly threaten her until you get what you want, I wish you luck." Feferi laughed quietly before giving him a quick hug, a whispered 'good luck, stay safe' and then made her way to Eridan's room.

He pressed a fleeting kiss to her lips before he left and he disappeared.

After a few hours, Piattro came back and he appeared in the hallway.

Feferi was in the living room, sitting on the sofa with an unfamiliar guy opposite her on the armchair. She had a weirded out expression since, apparently, the guy opposite her was Eridan, except for the fact he looked to be nearly eighteen years old.

Piattro hung his jacket up and he walked into the room, he on the other hand wasn't that surprised. "Hello Eridan."

"Hey Piattro." Eridan smiled and, as he turned to face him, Piattro would have seen the black eye and bruised jaw. The first thing he'd done when he'd arrived was try to hug Feferi and had, unsurprisingly, been punched in the face.

"Who punched you this time?"

"Feferi did." Eridan laughed quietly and then winced at the pain in his face. "She didn't get the memo but, to be fair, the last time she saw me was a couple of months ago and I was twelve then. Apparently coming through the doorway and hugging her straight away merits a punch to the face."

"Which boasts the question; what the fuck happened?"

"When I was younger, mom, Atropos, stifled my ageing so I wouldn't develop my power, in order to keep me safe from Corgan. With the threat gone, she didn't release it straight away but the power started developing anyway, so she had to take it off and I caught up, apparently. I'm actually older than you, Feffy, even though I look like this."

"You should be the same age as Sestia, which bids another question, who gets Poseidon's throne?" Piattro asked, sitting with them.

"I won't be getting his throne, if that's what you're implying. I've been living there, I'm not his son, and just because mom is dating him - a creepy thing to think about - it doesn't mean I get any right to it. I'm a Fate. We do not deal with the affairs of Gods so closely."

"If you end up becoming Sestia's step-brother, Fate or not, you do, and that will really will cause a rift between father and daughter." Piattro told him.

"Then I decline, right now. I'm not going to have a place on any throne. I don't want any responsibility, I don't want anything. When it comes down to it, I'm going to say no. And nothing will change my opinion of the matter."

Feferi wasn't following the conversation, still shocked that the Eridan she had raised since he was very young, had suddenly turned eighteen in a very short time.

Piattro nodded. "It is your choice after all." He looked at Feferi and he clicked his fingers in front of her to snap her out of it. "Earth to Feferi."

"I weaned him off of bottles and onto solid food," Feferi whispered. "And now he's that."

"Oh dear, have I broken her?" Eridan asked, unable to keep a fond expression from his face as he watched Feferi.

"Probably." He moved to whisper in her ear. "Hera has agreed, she said as long as we consummate our love within the next 24 hours, it will remain permanent."

"Eridan is an adult, we can't leave him be with a colouring book any more," Feferi murmured in reply, next to his ear so Eridan couldn't hear or read her lips.

"You know, it's rude to exclude someone from a conversation," Eridan called over, but his voice was light and humorous.

"No, but even a mind like his at this age, he can be occupied." He told her quietly.

"Oh, so talking about me are we?" Eridan laughed reclining back in his chair. "I see how it is. And to think, when I was a child I was naive enough to think I could marry Feferi when you two are so completely in sync."

"Christ, this is creeping me out," Feferi mumbled. "Him being grown up."

Piattro just laughed and he patted Eridan on the head playfully. "Grow up a bit more, be a man for a bit longer then you could have a chance with someone that isn't mine." He told him playfully.
