"Just trust me okay?" Sestia asked.

"I don't trust myself, so I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon," Eridan admitted.

"Come on Eridan, look would it be best to use Pietro?"

"No." Eridan chewed the inside of his cheek. "I'll just wait for Feferi to come back."

"What's the matter?"

"I don't...don't really like Pietro."

"Why?" She asked. "You used to be friends with him, and anyway he isn't worse than his father and yet you and Hades are pretty pally."

Pietro was sitting in his and Feferis room, he was waiting for Hers to show up since she wanted to check the effects of the 'pregnancy' potion that she gave to Feferis so the young couple could have a family.

"Hey look, I know Eridan, but now's a bad time, you know?" Feferi had her phone pressed to her shoulder with her ear as she slipped back into the bedroom, her hands preoccupied with the pregnancy test she was waiting for. "I mean, you're a grown adult now, you can't just keep, you know, depending on other people when things go south."

Pietro was silently listening, she had asked him.to stay out of the bathroom and he had complied,Blaze was the one pacing.

"Eridan. She's mortal. You're not. The relationship would not have ended happy. Be glad she broke it off, rather than, you know, visiting her grave in sixty years. It's not the - oh." Feferi reached up to hang up on Eridan, staring at the plastic stick before flipping it to show Pietro. There were two lines, positive.

Pietro looked up at hearing her and be seemed to freeze as did Blaze.

"Oh my fucking god," Feferi whispered, and then had to lift a hand quickly to her face to scrub at the tears. "Fuck, sorry."

Pietro watched her.

Blaze saw the tears and he immediately thought the worst. "If you don't want it, we.can.talk to Hers to get rid of it."

"No, no, no, it's not that. I just...expected the worst." Feferi laughed bitterly, putting the test on the dresser so she could press her face into both hands.

Blaze nuzzled her.

"I'm going to be a mum." Feferi sounded shellshocked.

Blaze nodded. "I think you need to wake Pietro up."

Feferi rubbed the tears from her face and picked up the test. Walking across the room, she picked up Pietro's hand and pushed the test into his palm. "Congratulations. You've done the impossible. I'm pregnant."

"Well actually dearie, I helped." The voice came from.Hera who was stood against the doorway. Her precense snapped Pietro out of it and he moved to stand between Feferi and Hera as Blaze stood with him. "Oh sit down kitty." The way she said it and had her eyes glow forced Pietro reluctantly to his knees, almost like he was bowing.

"I'm sorry, sunshine, I don't remember you there while we did the horizontal tango," Feferi said defensively, hands curling into fists.

Blaze growled when Hera suddenly had a look on her face. "Watch it Hera, you're in our house." He warned. "What are you here for?"

"Just came to see if sweetie here didn't mess up some simple instructions," She told them, running a hand down Pietro's head and if he could he probably would have bit her or at least moved away but Hera's magic was strong.

"What part of this am I missing?" Feferi asked irritably, looking like she wanted to break Hera's hand. "Someone want to let me in on the loop?"

"As payment for letting this waste of space be a father, he had to do a little job for me," Hera smiled. "I wanted his mother out of the picture, Zeus has had his eyes on her for years, even when Hades took her as his." She told her. "So, I wanted Pietro to end the little whore's life, it would be quite poetic both her and Hades destroyed by the one life they helped to create."

"So in order to become a father, he has to kill his own mother? If that's the price, take the fucking baby. Shit, we can adopt. You can't get another mother," Feferi moved so she was closer to Pietro's side.
