A few weeks later, Tamara was sat at the coffee shop where she had arranged to meeting Adrian for the fourth or fifth time, waiting for him. A laptop was on the table in front of her as she made last minute edits to a PowerPoint Presentation she had made.

Leon knocked on the front door of Vanessa's home, having come to pick up Karina and L.J.

"Your making me late for work." Adam grumbled in complaint from where he was sat at the diningtable.

"You being this moody constantly your in no right mood to go to work."

"Maybe if you stop trying to control me just because I like someone you don't overly approve of I-"

"Adam. I'm not getting involved with it."

"I see the way you look at me and Ollie when we're together, you hate it. You and dad both do."

Vanessa opened the door quietly. "Hey," she greeted softly. "Ksrinas just helping LJ put his shoes on... You can come in if you like."

Adrian came in quietly and sat opposite her, not saying anything as he didn't want to disturb her.

"My ears are burning." Olivia muttered as she came into the kitchen to pour herself a drink.

Tamara glanced up from the laptop, saving her work before closing the laptop and putting it away. Offering him a small smile as she greeted, "Hey Adrian, you okay?"

"Tell me about it." Adam mumbled in response to Olivia, "Want to come for a drive with me?"

Astrid just let out a deep sigh before walking out of the room.

Leon hesitated before nodding and heading inside.

"I'm good thanks, Tam. How're you?" Adrian asked.

"Push me away if you like." Vanessa whispered before wrapping her arms around him.

"Because you want to go for a drive or because you want to piss your mum off?"

"Because I want to go for a drive."

"I'm alright," Tamara confirmed with a small nod, "Finally finished off some work, so I can relax guilt free for the rest of the day now." she laughed, "Want to do anything specific today? Or is it just going to be a coffee or tea and then your going off to do work like it has been? I'm all caught up now, so don't have to join you at the library this time - unless you want me to of course. If your not going we could do something though, go play darts or something."

Leon tensed a bit, muttering, "Ness, what're you doing?"

Olivia nodded. "I'll come."

"Remembering how good it feels to hold you even though you're not holding me back." Vanessa whispered.

Adrian shook his head at that. "I uh, hand eye coordination... I have none, darts is lethal with me."

"Okay, no darts then. Don't want you killing anyone." She replied with a gentle laugh, "You choose what to do, I'm pretty much up for anything as long as it doesn't involve water based activities. I hate water."

Leon shook his head and took a step back away from her, "What's the point when we're over, Vanessa, and your dead set on it staying that way? Just torture…"

"Awesome, meet you in the car when your ready." Adam replied before heading out.

"The last of my resolve broke last night. When I was laying alone in bed, and it wasn't my mum or dad or Nate I wanted, was you. I want you. I need you... I want you back."

"We could go for a walk? Or you could come home to mine and meet my mum?"

Olivia nodded, finishing her drink quietly.

Astrid leant against the kitchen doorway, watching her for a moment before whispering, "I don't know what is going on between you two, I don't really want to either…. Just, if there is, don't hurt him Olivia, please? He's my baby… if he hurts you I'll give him what for about it, just don't hurt him."

Tamara was silent for a few moments before nodding a bit, "We could do both if you want both? I could meet her then we could go for a walk?"

Leon let out a small sigh, pulling her into a tight hug.

"If you'll have me back, nothing in this world would make me happier." Vanessa whispered as she held him close. "I need you. I love you."

"I'm not planning on hurting him Astrid." Olivia mumbled.

"Yeah, sounds good."

"Well… lead the way then, I guess." She smiled.

Astrid just gave a small nod, mumbling, "He's more sensitive then he acts." before heading up the stairs to find Kol.

"I love you too…"

"But you don't want me back?" Vanessa pulled away. "I understand. I've been a bitch. I should just be alone." She whispered.

Adrian smiled and got up, heading out.

Olivia headed out to Adams car.

"I like your smile, by the way," Tamara grinned as she got to her feet and grabbed her things, adding, "It's cute." as she wandered after him. After a few moments asking curiously, "Are you close with the rest of your family then, you've mentioned your dad once, speak about your mum quite a bit - what about the others? I mean, is there others?"

Leon hesitated before shaking his head, resting his hand on her cheek and pressing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.

Adam was waiting for her in the driving seat.

Vanessa kissed him back just as passionately, moving a hand into his hair and stepping closer to him.

Olivia slipped into the passengers side quietly, leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to his lips.

"I'm close with my grandma - Tatia."

(( I was just reminded today of one of my friends that is just as awkward around people as Adrian is xD He phoned me and was like; "Uh…. Do you wanna uh…. I was thinking… tomorrow… should - do you want - uh…. Wanna come swimming with me?" And he's a twin too, the louder one but both of 'em are awful quiet. ))

Tamara nodded a little bit in response to that, "Is your family quite close? Generally? The majority of mine wasn't on my dad side, we were all close on my mums side though."

Leon pulled her against him.

Adam kissed her back gently.

Vanessa pulled away and rested her forehead against his. "What does this mean, my lion?"

"Your parents will come round." Olivia said quietly.

"Yeah. We used to be even closer than we are now but we're just too big a family to get together all the time."

"Mm," Adam hummed doubtfully with a sigh.

"I don't know… you tell me. My wants haven't changed, it all depends on you, only ever depended on you."

"They're just worried that we're not stable enough to last."

"I'd say being part of a big family means you're never lonely but that's not true..."

Leon just gave a small nod in response to that, staying silent.

"Ah that sucks, Adrian," She frowned. "Worst thing ever huh? Being lonely when there is a load of people around you… feels like your invisible, like you ain't important. I went through it once, when I was younger."

Adam was silent then.
