"I don't feel it either." Vanessa whispered. "I can't keep anything down, I can barely move."

"I don't want to make a fool of myself."

"Whatever, go to work, it's fine. Chat with your work mates about other women while I'm here on my lonesome."

"Have a swig of alcohol for good luck then, if that'll make you brave enough. Not much though, and don't tell your dad. I don't think you'll make a fool of yourself, but if you need it."

"I chat to 'em about you... You can come and watch, if you like, it'd be rather boring but...." He shrugged.

"You moved from bed to here by the look of it, so that's a lie," He teased

"Highly doubt you do Adam."

Vanessa just looked up and gave him a dirty look then. "Go if you aren't going to be sympathetic."

---

"I can't just have one drink though."

"I'll let you have one swig and no more... Okay, how about you talk to her like before then, invite her to the pub and have a few drinks with her, then do whatever you feels best, hm?"

Adam just shrugged a little bit, "I do, but if you don't believe me then fine."

Olivia just rolled her eyes. "Bye Adam."

"Yeah." Adrian nodded.

"Don't make a habit out of it though, I don't want you becoming addicted or overly reliant on the alcohol. Just until you get your confidence up, hm?" Astrid replied.

"Don't be like that." Adam huffed

---

"I was joking, Vanessa." Nate sighed.

Adrian nodded.

Vanessa opened her mouth to answer but ended up kneeling over the toilet as she vomited the last of the blood up before collapsing against the tiles.

"Goodbye Adam." Olivia repeated.

Adam just groaned and pulled his shirt off, sliding his arms around her waist and mumbling, "This is emotional blackmail, sweetheart," as he pressed his lips to hers in a deep kiss.

Nate let out a deep sigh and sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and helping her up. "You ever think of just putting a bucket by your bed so you don't have to sprint to the bathroom constantly?"

"Go in there and talk to her then, I'm sure you'll do fine."

"Didn't actually." Vanessa mumbled as she leaned against him. "Nate I'm worried." She confessed.

"You said you couldn't be bothered, so go to work." Olivia hummed as she resisted his kisses. "You don't have to sleep with me."

Adrian took a deep breath and nodded, heading into the room.

"We can forget I said anything... if you want to." Tamara whispered when she heard him come in.

"Why?"

---

"Want to though, I just know it'll make me not want to go to work..."

"Well works the most important thing, right?"

"Because the last time I felt like this; this bad, I lost Karinas twin."

Adrian just shook his head and sat next to her, taking a deep breath to steady himself before pressing his lips to hers.

"No... Ollie, come on, don't make me out to be the bad guy for having work." Adam whispered with a deep sigh.

Nate just frowned deeply at that, "That's why you needed to go to that scan today."

Tamara closed her eyes and kissed him back, lifting her hand up to rest on his cheek in gentle comfort, sensing how nervous he was.

"I can't go ten minutes without vomiting blood. That means throwing up twice on the way there, twice actually in the room with a doctor and twice on the way back. That's a lot of blood to clean up and I'd rather not alarm a doctor to what I am." Vanessa mumbled.

"I've just told you to go to work, go."

---

Adrian deepened it a little.

Tamara matched it gently, brushing her thumb against his cheek.

Adam rolled his eyes and moved away from her then, putting his shirt back on before heading out of the room without another word.

Nate just sighed.

Adrian moved a hand to tangle in her hair.

---

Olivia sighed as he went, curling back up on the bed where she'd be when he got back.

"I just need someone to hold my hand and tell me it'll be okay and in not a failure and I'm not going to lose his baby because I'm useless..." Vanessa mumbled as her eyes slipped closed.

"You don't need me for that. You have Leon for it."

She moved the hand that was on his cheek up into his hair, sliding her other arm around his neck and smiling against his lips.

"He's not here right now." Vanessa pointed out before going limp, passing out.

Adrian pulled away after a few more moments.

She pulled back when he did, though didn't move her head to far away from his. Lowering her gaze to the ground with a gentle, happy laugh as she slowly let her hand drop from his hair.

Nate grimaced at that and just lifted her up, carrying her to the bed silently and putting her down. Heading out of the room to grab a bucket to put by the side of the bed for her.

Adam entered the room when he got back in from work, wiping greasy and oil covered hands onto his jeans

Olivia was dozing on the bed, snoring softly.

Vanessa stayed as she was for a good few hours, finally blinking her eyes open when she came round.

Adrian was silent.

Adam pulled his oil covered shirt off and just playfully threw it over her.

"Took you long enough," Nate mumbled.

---

After a moment of hesitation, Tamara lifted her gaze up to meet his.

"What's with the tone?" Vanessa mumbled.

---

"I'm sorry..." Adrian apologised. "I don't usually randomly kiss people."

---

Olivia just mumbled something and threw it off her.

"I started the random kissing," She pointed out with a quiet laugh, before replying. "I don't normally either but it's alright... It was nice. Good.. You're a good kisser I mean - ah look, I'm tripping over my words now, see."

"What tone? This is what I normally sound like."

---

Adam laughed a little bit.

"How long was I out? If it was longer than an hour I think you should take me to hospital."

Adrian smiled a little.

---

"You're back from your day of getting sweaty and talking about other girls after you couldn't be bothered with me; mm?" Olivia yawned.

"Don't make me out like a bad person because I have a job, Olivia." Adam sighed, "You trust me so little I'm not even allowed to earn money, is that it?" he asked, grabbing some clean clothes before heading into the bathroom to shower.

"It was longer than an hour." Nate grumbled, "Thought you were too worried about throwing up to go to the hospital?"

Tamara laughed softly and lifted her hand to brush her thumb against his cheek, "You're so adorably handsome and kind... Smart too, which is just amazing, a lot of guys are good looking and nice, not many of them have brains to top it off too though. Ah, I'll shut up. It's just nice to compliment you without humiliating myself incase you found it creepy.. "

"Please don't use that tone with me." Vanessa whispered as she tried to sit up. "I'm concerned about our baby. I'll risk doctors not being on vervain to make sure he or she is okay."

Olivia got up at that and headed out of the house completely.

Adrian just chuckled a little at that.
