"Mummy thought you'd be mad she wasn't a boy."

"She told me,"

"Are you?"

"No. I do not mind."

Christopher just nodded then.

Lilliana was laying beside Lucian, curled up into his side and her eyes closed though she wasn't asleep. Simply enjoying the feel of him beside her again.

Vladomir was tossing and turning n his deep sleep, mumbling incoherently.

Lucian was laying stiffly, jerking awake when he dozed off, too fearful of what he might dream to sleep.

Rhaenys was sat by the fire in their room, having not been sleeping as well as eating, though she waited until Vladomir was asleep before creeping out of bed. At his stirring she looked over sadly.

When she felt him jerk, she blinked her eyes open and lifted her hand to rest on his chest, leaning her head forward to press her lips to the side of his head. "You have to sleep, my sweet Luca. I will be here, I will wake you if I see you having dreams of a horrible nature."

Vladomir continued to toss and turn, working up a cold sweet from his nightmares.  Mumbling her name after a few moments.

"I'm fine not sleeping." Lucian whispered, rolling away from her. "I don't mean to be a disturbance."

Rhaenys got up at that, clambering onto the bed beside him and running her fingers through his hair. "I'm here my love."

Vladomir just mumbled something incoherent and moved his hand to rest on her waist gently.

"You are nothing of the sort," She whispered, sitting up enough so she could brush her fingers through his hair gently. "Do not move away from me, my love."

"I'm moving so I don't stop you sleeping."

Rhaenys cringed a little at where he touched, though carried on smoothing through his hair. "I'm here my love."

Vladomir opened his eyes with a jerk a few seconds later, breathing fast. Though he relaxed when he realised where he was.

"You were not doing that to begin with,"

"I'm here." Rhaenys whispered as she kissed his forehead and snuggled into him, moving under the covers. "I got you."

"You woke because of me."

"I was not asleep to begin with."

Vladomir just let out a small sigh and whispered. "I am sorry if I woke you."

"You didn't."

---

"Why not?"

"I was simply enjoying you being here, beside me again." Lilliana replied, adding gently, "Just as before, if you wish to tell me what you saw, what happened to you during the time you were away I am here, willing, to listen."

"Were you not asleep?" He asked with a frown.

"No. I - I have difficulty sleeping nowadays."

"Same as last time... The same content anyway."

Lilliana just gave a small nod in response to that, despite that he wouldn't be able I see it, and simply wrapped her arms around him from behind. "I have got you. You are safe now. It is over." She soothed softly.

"Why?"

Rhaenys shrugged, then tried to divert the conversation. "Would you divulge your dreams to me?"

"It's never over..."

Lilliana frowned and kissed his neck gently, "You aren't alone now. I have you, I am here."

"Perhaps if you tell me what is wrong,"

"This isn't about me, this is about your nightmares and inability to sleep because of them."

"You don't know what it's like... You don't get it."
