Malvolio froze at that, just glancing over his shoulder at Trinity.

"You'd have complained had Leon seen it and not you. I want him here anyway."

"Hello?"

Trinity gave a tiny nod of her head walking over to Malvolio and sliding her arms around him

"What? I'd like to go now if you don't mind..."

"Hey Rian, wanna come for a drink with me and Ollie? You can invite your friend if you want - unless you two are a couple now, I don't know, it's been so long since I've spoken to you..."

"I have no issue with him being here."

"Come to ours for a drink, a hot chocolate.... We need to talk to you."

Saffron shook her head slowly trying to back away into the house.

"Saffron...w-we just need to speak with you, please?"

"Please.."

"Here then. Or somewhere close to here." she answered glancing at the house once more.

"No."

"Then you're out of luck, I'm not going."

Malvolio hesitated before breaking her neck after mumbling a quiet apology to knock her out.

Vanessa just sighed deeply.

"Okay," Adam whispered, "Please come, even if it's just you..."

Nate was silent then.

Saffron went limp instantly falling into his arms.

"Lets go she's not going to be happy when she comes to Mal..."

"Can't stand to be alone with dad's ex, mm?"

The doctor set up the scan then, moving the wand over Vanessa's stomach to get a picture.

"Didn't knock her out for no reason... It's her. I know it's her now, maybe if she sees the dog, the house..." Malvolio whispered, lifting Saffron up and carrying her to the house.

"No. I miss you." Adam replied, hissing.

Nate watched the screen.

"Something's wrong, it's taken too long." Vanessa whispered to Leon.

---

"Whatever."

"Fuck off then," Adam hissed, "I can't believe your like this too! I can just about cope with mum and dad being like it but not you too, Adrian. For god sake. I done nothing but fall in love and I refuse to apologise for that."

"Don't worry," Leon soothed softly.

Vanessa nodded and squeezed his hand, sighing in relief when the doctor found an image.

"You fell for the wrong person."

"I fell for the perfect person, and no matter how much I miss you all I'm not going to sacrifice it for any of you." Adam hissed before hanging up and mumbling to Olivia, "Lets go out anyway... then we can talk more about this holiday."

Leon just squeezed her hand gently

"I hope she remembers..." she whispered softly following along side him.

"The baby's looking on track, definitely getting bigger since we sorted the infection." The doctor noted.

"You sure?"

Adam nodded before heading out of the room and down the stairs, grabbing his car keys silently as he headed out. Assuming that she would follow him.

Nate watched the baby on the screen.

"So do I," Malvolio whispered as he walked.

Trinity opened the door and set up the couch. "Lay here there for when she wakes."

"It's okay?"

"Looking better than it has."

Olivia followed.
