Jeremy shrugged, "Yeah, I think so. They have been arguing alot though, as if that's new, so I doubt that they are going to last any longer."

If Charlotte is in a bad mood then so is Elijah and the both of them take it out on Falin, and Damon doesn't tell them to back off of her so that's why arguments arise between them."
