"What do you feel like doing?" Elijah asked her.

Caleb held her close.

"Being with you and my sister and your brother..."

She held him tightly.

"You know that that isn't possible right now, if they found ot that you were willingly with us, you would be hanged, or worse."

"hat do you feel like doing?"

"Yes I know but that's what I want...to be with you.."

"What really can we do right now Caleb?"

"No idea."

Elijah looked at the window as she heard something that she couldn't.

She laughed softly.

"Is something wrong?"

"Someone's coming to your house."

He smiled at her laugh.

"Who?"

She held her close.

"Interrogator."

He held her tight to him.

She frowned deeply. "You must go. I will see you soon."

Laura looked up at him.

"I will, just promise me that you'll be careful."

He looked down at her.

"You know I will be."

She smiled gently.

He kissed her deeply, before he left.

He smiled back.

She watched him leave.

Laura held him tightly.

Elijah managed to disappear into the forest.

He hugged her just as tightly.

She didn't let him go.

Marie remained up in her room.

Eventually Marie would have been called downstairs and put into a room, away from her family, where a man would have asked her about where Elijah, Caleb and Laura were.

He kept his hold on her as he noticed Elijah.

Marie looked at the man blankly. "I do not know."

Laura looked over at him.

"Marie, I don't think you understand the seriousness of what you're doing by keeping their location a secret."

"How's Marie?"

"She's okay, they are all okay."

"I do not know where they are though."

Laura nodded in relief.

"Then I suggest that you come with us Marie."

Elijah moved to sit on a rock.

"What for?"

Laura leaned against Caleb some.

"You're the only way to find two powerful vampires, so, you could say that we are using you as bait." He signalled for two men to grab hold of Marie's wrists and escort her out of the building.

He kept her as close as possible.

Marie simply got to her feet without a word.

Laura rested her head on his shoulder.

The man attached her to a post, by using a piece of rope tied to one of her wrists as well as the pole.
