"Well she's forcing me to be fine without her by disowning me! I have no sympathy for her pathetic emotional break downs when she's treating me like I'm nothing!" Astrid hissed.

Klaus just sighed and shook his head, walking to Henrik and Dakota's door, knocking on it

"She's dealing with the pain of you choosing your father! She honestly thought you'd pick her side."

Tatia followed with a sigh.

"Why the hell would I when me doing that would mean he would die, Lucas? She needs to use her brain for once instead of being so stupid! It's disgusting she made me choose between her and him in the first place, they're both my parents!"

"You get it?" Henrik asked Dakota quietly, having Sapphire and Ruby either side of him, Ruby having fallen asleep leaning against his side.

"Well I'll let her know how you feel." Lucas mumbled. "Dad's just about cracked her to come and speak to you, but if you feel that way I'll let her know not to bother" he said before pushing the pram out of the door.

Dakota nodded, going to the door and answering it. Closing it when she saw who it was and walking away.

"Fine! I'm sick of crying over her now, Lucas! Sick of it!"

Klaus shoved his foot in the door so it couldn't be closed, "Dakota, hear us out. We came to talk to you."

"I get it. You want to come the wedding. It's not happening. Goodbye."

"Fine. But like i said, dad had her cracked almost. But she won't try now." Lucas shrugged before leaving.

"We want to apologise, actually."

Astrid just shook her head, flopping on her bed and curling up on it, closing her eyes to try and calm herself down.

"You can stick you apologies."

"I highly doubt Henrik doesn't want us at your wedding, doesn't want us on bad terms with you. We're making an effort now, and you have to consider that instead of making our son miserable by not allowing us there."

"Me and Henrik are working through our relationship at the moment. We've both made mistakes and we're both having problems but we love each other and we're working through it. Probably won't be a wedding for a while, you've had your way. Now go."

"We're sorry." Klaus mumbled.

"For what? Don't just say you're sorry because you know I want to hear it."

"For assuming the worst of you, for making you feel isolated from the family, for not trusting you."

"For judging you. For dragging on something you did as a child."

"What're you talking about?"

"You were fifteen when you shot me. A child. It wasn't until a few months ago I finally managed to break free of a man who punished me for things I did as a child, when I was the same age. Made me realise it's what I've been doing to you, punishing you for something you did when you were young and scared and away from your family... We're sorry. You make our son happy and we're grateful for that, grateful that you've given him daughters, us granddaughters. And we'd be even more grateful if you'd let us see our boy marry you." Tatia whispered, looking down at her feet.

Klaus wrapped an arm around Tatia's waist, kissing the side of her head gently before looking at Dakota.

Dakota looked back at Henrik and the girls sleeping, sighing deeply as she turned back to them. "I'm sure we could find two extra seats at the church." She mumbled. "For Henrik though. I'm not doing this for you. It's only because he wants you there, not because you want to be there." She added before closing the door.

"Thank you," Klaus replied with a sigh of relief as Dakota closed the door before looking to Tatia and offering her a smile.

Tatia gave him a small smile in return before getting into the car and driving once he was in too.

"Should we make it a double achievement and pop over to Astrid and Kol's?"

"No." Tatia shook her head. "I want to go check on Sarai. Lucas was up to something, I could tell." Tatia mumbled, pulling up outside their house a few minutes later and heading inside. "Where've you been?" She asked when she noticed Lucas getting Sarai out of her coat.

"Took her to meet Astrid..."

Klaus followed her inside, remaining silent.

Tatia just nodded. "You can't have stayed long."

"She said you were stupid, despicable, pathetic, a crap mother and she has no sympathy for your pathetic emotional breakdowns." Lucas mumbled. "So I left."

Tatia just gave another nod before heading upstairs.

"Lucas you didn't have to tell her what she said." Klaus mumbled with a frown, walking up after Tatia and catching her wrist. Pulling her into his arms and whispering, "I've got you, love, I've got you. I'm sure she didn't mean it, sure she loves you. She can't not love you."

"I didn't want her to go round there and get a shock."

Tatia just shook her head, bursting into tears against him.

"She was probably just hurting and lashing out Lucas, you could of kept it to yourself." Klaus replied with a shake of his head before kissing the top of Tatia's head and whispering softly, "I'm sure she never meant it love, she probably just misses you and is lashing out so she doesn't hurt anymore. I'm sure she doesn't mean it."
