"I didn't want this to be what broke us up... It's why I kept the test quiet."

Tatia leaned against him. "I see myself as a painting sometimes, or an ornament. That Adam destroyed completely and scattered the pieces. And then you came along, picking up all the pieces you could find and getting to know each one and where it goes, then fixing them all back together again. And the pieces you couldn't find... Eventually came back on their own because you were patient enough to wait." She said quietly.

"It came to me once, when you were painting Vanessa. Some of the paint dripped wrong but you didn't discard it, you kept working on it and turned it into a picture of Vanessa with her kids. It's how you are in real life... You don't give up on people. Me. You never have."

"People paint you out to be horrible, but they don't know you. The you who never gave up on me after it all."

He leant towards her touch, leaning his head forward to kiss just behind her ear as he whispered, "Are you going to let me get in the shower or just distracted me?"

"I have done awful things." Klaus shrugged.

"So don't blame yourself."

"Do you not want distracting?" Olivia asked coyly as she wound her arms around his neck, smirking lightly.

"Mm, I'm dirty and I most likely smell of burning. I doubt it'd be nice for you until I was clean. This is completely different to the normal of being covered in car oil kind of dirt too..."

Klaus shrugged in response to that, "I'm aware, but others aren't. I let them believe what they want to believe

Zacarias just tightened his arm around her.

"Ill let you go shower then." Olivia nodded, letting him go and moving away to go get him some clothes out from their case.

Tatia nodded, leaning into him.

"We were happy before we started trying. We can be happy again." Hope whispered.

He kissed the top of her head.

"I won't be able to stop myself distracting you." Olivia pointed out with a smirk as she pulled her hand free, walking back to the case. "Go get clean."

"I love you, Nik."

Hope snuggled into him and closed her eyes, inhaling deeply before trying to sleep.

"I won't smell as bad in the shower," Adam pointed out with a quiet laugh before heading into the bathroom.

Zacarias just held her close, hoping he'd manage to fall asleep eventually.

"I love you too, Tatia."

"I know. You wouldn't have fixed me up again if you didn't." Tatia pointed out with a smile.

Olivia watched him go, getting him some fresh clothes out.

Hope never managed to fall asleep until around daybreak when Zacarias and she would usually get up to start the day.

Zacarias had only fallen asleep a few hours prior. Not even reacting to the sound of his alarm going off for work that day.

After about twenty minutes Adam came out of the shower.

Klaus just pressed his lips to hers.

Hope reached over and found his phone, turning his alarm off and sending a quick text to his boss saying he was too ill to work before curling back into his arms again.

"Mm, you look good in a towel. Shame we have to dress you up again." Olivia said lowly from where she was sat cross legged on the bed, sipping a blood bag as she rather obviously undressed him with her eyes.

"Movie night tonight? When we get rid of our delightful grandchildren?" Tatia hummed in suggestion.

Astrid was laying on hers and Kol's bed, curled up beside him as she kissed down his neck gently.

"Mm, we don't have to, but if you aren't going to join me then I may aswell get dressed up again, hm?"

Zacarias slept peacefully for a good few more hours before blinking his eyes open with a yawn.

Kol let his fingers travel up her back as he pulled her shirt off and undid her bra, kissing down her collarbone.

Hope was still sleeping deeply, face turned the other way now.

"Or you could just stay like that, minus the towel."

Adam laughed a bit and shook his head, "Not unless you get undressed too, beautiful."

Astrid made a noise of content, knotting her fingers in his hair as she lowered her head to kiss his neck.

Zacarias kissed the top of her head gently before rolling over to pick up his phone, eyes widening when he saw the time.

Klaus nodded in response to that.

"Come do it yourself." Olivia smirked coyly as she set the bloodbag down.

Kol snaked his hand down her back, reaching to the waistband of her jeans when there was a knock at the door. "We decide to break a six month dry spell and this happens." He sighed as he passed Astrid her clothes back.

Hope stirred a little at his movements.

"You can pick the movie we'll pretend to watch." Tatia chuckled.

"We could ignore it," Astrid mumbled, pushing his hand away as she lifted her leg to straddle his waist. Pressing her lips to his once again.

Zacarias went onto his texts to text an apology though paused at seeing Hope had text him, letting out a soft sigh though he smiled gently. Putting his phone back down.

Klaus laughed in response to that.

Adam rolled his eyes at her.
