"I- Lady Rhaenys just asked me to help her end her own life. I feel as though I need to tell someone of her intentions, but if I tell her father what if he beats her? That will merely make her worse and then she will never trust me. But, if I do not, and she does something, aren't I to be held partly responsible due to that knowledge? I don't know what I should do."

Rhaenys was in town with one of her maids, though the woman was acting more like a chaperon than anything else as she walked with her mistress, accompanying her to the seamstresses.

Lucian was in the dining room, inspecting a swath of material with one of the guards.

Lilliana entered the room but then paused when she saw he was with a guard, letting out a soft sigh and slowly approaching. Stopping at his side and following their gaze.

Vladomir was stood on a street corner, attempting to sell one of his horses.

"Someone tried to get into the house last night, Princess. Did you see anything from your room? All they left behind was this piece of cloth which had torn from his clothes when he climbed back over the fence." Lucian asked as he looked up at her.

Rhaenys sighed deeply when she saw him, expecting him to rage at her again.

Rhaenys just dipped her head out of respect, buying an apple and walking to his horse to feed it quietly, before taking off the necklace she was wearing and handing it over to him. "This is to repay you for all you lost due to my foolishness. I will not take it back, and if you don't take it I'll drop it on the ground, you shall have it as my apology and recompense. It's worth enough to cover what you lost and a little more to help you along the way."

"No. The dogs scared the man off, but he tried getting into the kitchen window. He was probably after food or silver in the kitchen."

"I'd rather marry you," He mumbled, giving her the necklace back quietly.

Rhaenys just pressed it back into his hands. "Please. Keep it. If you care for me you will sell it and regain your livelihood. I've robbed you of so much... your horses, your wealth, your dignity. Please, I cannot do anything to fix it but give you this. Please, please just accept it."

"It's fine. And we cannot punish the man if we don't know who he is, so fear not."

"Do not search then, why punish him to begin with? He has caused no harm to anyone, if anything happens we must find him so we can help him. No one would take such a risk just for themselves, so he must have a family that needs the food. We must help..." Lilliana whispered.

Vladomir just swallowed thickly, sliding an arm around her waist gently and leaning down to gently steal a kiss.

"Miss, Miss, M'lady." The maid almost panicked as she tugged on her mistresses arm. "Your brother said you weren't to talk to sir here, Miss please... he said he'd have my job if you were to speak to him... Miss, M'lady..." she whined.

Rhaenys kissed him back chastely before pulling away. "Please... take the necklace."

"To help them but to do nothing more." Lilliana replied with a deep frown, "What action do you think should happen when the man is found? Not punishment, do not say punishment."

Vladomir shook his head, walking behind her and putting her necklace back on her, whispering in her ear. "I apologise greatly for yelling, I was upset. This is my fastest remaining horse, allow me to help you on and I shall get on behind you and we shall run away together."

"Even common thieves have their reasons, which is similar to what I just stated." Lilliana whispered gently, "Has your shoulder healed completely then?"
