Jack frowned. "Then I won't stop you. You're not a little kid anymore, do what you need to but I won't help you do it."

"Just need you to pass me that needle over there, then you can go..."

"You sure this is what you want? Death over life Drake, over a family?"

"Yes! Pass it to me!"

Jack took the needle in his hand and help it out to him.

Drake reached over to take it from him, mumbling quietly, "You can leave now."

He sighed. "You don't have to do this," he replied quietly.

"I'm doing this; leave."

He nodded and walked out without another word.

Drake just watched him go before putting the needle into his wrist.

The second Jack was gone the door opened aND Hayley walked in. "If you have to do this...let me stay?"

Drake ignored her, pushing the needle down so the liquid inside of it went into his vain.

She walked over and sat beside him on the bed.

He turned his head away from her and closed his eyes.

"Jack? You ok?" Kylie whispered when she saw him enter the house.

"Drake...please..."she whispered gently laying a hand on his arm. "Don't turn away from me..."

He ignored her,

Hayley bit her lip getting up and moving to the other side of the bed. "Drake...."

"I can't even die in peace, get lost." He mumbled drowsily. Turning his head the other way.

"If you're going to die...it shouldn't be alone..."

"Go away."

She let out a breath and slid her arms around him in a hug first whispering a very quiet, "I'll miss you..." before letting him go and walking out.

Jack walked over to and slid his arms around her.

"What happened?" She frowned, resting her head on his shoulder and tangling her fingers in his hair. "I thought you'd be with him all night."

"That was the plan. Drake had other plans though."

"What happened? Your shaking..."

He sat down on the couch heavily tugging her onto his lap and holding her tightly as he explained what had happened.
