Will You Keep The Secret

Rumple raised his hand to go for the boy's heart but stopped when he heard the second part. Could it be? Could it possibly be that after all these years he might finally be free from the pesky pirate? The fact that it would devistate the Charmings was also a bonus. He smirked. He could still work this to his advantage. "Go. You haven't completely screwed up Oscar. Just remind me never to trust you with anything important ever again. You are treading on thin ice. One wrong move and" Rumple snapped his fingers and giggled.

Oli sighed. "I know. It's just, home might not be the safest place for you right now. The banshee sent you here for a reason. I want to find out why that is and be able to protect you and the people here, I trust them. They can protect you, probably better than I can right now. They know this place and know how things work here. I'm........at a dissadvantage." Oli did not like admitting he wasn't in complete control but thought that might be more likely to get Aurora on board than trying to heard her into doing something. Also, the sooner they got to Granny's the sooner he could check on the pirate, who didn't look all that well. He glanced down at his hand and noticed black tendrils seemingly flowing under his skin. That definately wasn't good. "C'mon, lets get you some of that cocoa, you look like you need it. I promise, we'll answer all your questions when we get there.

Killian's shoulders tensed slightly as he caught Olifat watching him, slowly following his gaze to his own hand and inhaling as he saw what he had spotted. Moving his hand further into his pocket in an attempt to keep it out of sight from them all. Declaring an almost overly cheerful tone as he announced; "Right then, lets go." Turning his back on them all and making his way back towards Storybrooke.

"No." Aurora replied, voice blunt. Initially it seeming as a simple refusal to co-operate and move as she had been asked too, though after a few moments it would of been obvious that wasn't quite the intention. Eyes focused and stern as she watched Olifat intensely, shocked at his sudden lack of confidence she had become accustomed to. "No." She repeated, a little softer.

"Yes, yes. All of this talk can happen when we are somewhere warm." Killian called over his shoulder impatiently.

Oscar turned his head to cough into his arm, rather violently, having been so startled by the raise of the hand that he had inhaled sharply enough for him to choke of air. Shoulder's trembling as he heard the giggle, yet muscles paralysed from fear.

Oli was floored. Here was this woman who not five minutes ago was chewing him and Emma out for being too harsh on Oscar, now looking at him in conscern. He wasn't oblivious to Killian's stubborn cheerfulness, how Killian reminded him of himself, he was sure once all this was over they would become good friends. He focused back on Aurora and smiled gently. "C'mon Precious. I'm worried about you and the longer we're out here the more in danger we are." He took a step closer to her and in a hushed voice said, "Don't worry about me. Soon as I know what's going on I'll be back to the cocky arrogant git you know and love." He smirked, winked and wiggled his eyebrows, hoping that Aurora would see it was still him. He raised his voice again and said, "Now, please will you come with us, I promise to be the upmost gentleman and escort you to the fine eatery that is Granny's." He gave an overly dramatic bow and when he stood he offered his arm to Aurora, hoping she'd take it.

Rumple took a threatening step towards the paralysed boy, "Out before I change my mind!" He needed to come up with a new plan to get rid of the meddlesome god and his lady love which wouldn't be easy with the Charmings, but with the Pirate as good as dead, his life would be that little bit easier.

Aurora kept her gaze steady, shaking her head at his efforts; seeing through them without even a moment of foolery. Hesitantly, she stepped forward, following the strangers to the centre of this small town she had never heard of before.

"When am I going to see them all again, get them back?" Oscar asked, though instantly regretted the words ever leaving his mouth, stumbling backwards a few steps as if avoiding a strike that had yet to come. He had to be smarter, he wouldn't see his family if he continued how he was, without thinking.

Oli sighed. At least she was moving. This was not how he'd expected to be spending his time after waking his true love up. Hell, he wasn't even sure she realised what they were, which broke his already damaged heart that little bit more. The fact that she might not accept him when she finally understood was not something Oli wanted to go through but he knew was a great possibility. He shoved his hands in his trouser pockets and followed behind Aurora, scuffing the occasional stone with his shoes. And here he thought it would get easier once he'd woken her up.

Rumple advance on Oscar feeling the anger surging through him, "If you don't leave right now you will never see them again and I will make you wish you'd never been born!" He grabbed Oscar by the scruff of his neck, slammed open his shop door and hauled him out on the street, closing the door behind him with a bang that rattled the doorframe. He span and marched into his back room where he started going through all his books on magic, hoping to find something to help him in the oncoming battle.

As seconds passed into minutes, and they all slowly but surely made their way back; Killian paused, leaning his shoulder against one of the walls of the buildings and closing his eyes so he could inhale, and then exhale slowly; closing his eyes briefly. As he opened them again, the whites of his eyes would been stained red as they began to bleed; an adverse side-effect from the poison.

Aurora paused, watching.

Oli advanced quickly on Killian and positioned himself between Killian and Emma, she didn't need to see this. When he saw the man's eyes he hissed. "Dammit man, why haven't you said anything?" He kept his voice low as he didn't want to alarm the women. He raised a hand and before Killian could protest he lai three fingers on the side of his face and closed his eyes to see if he could use his magic to find out what was wrong. He could feel the power of whatever was infecting Killian surging just underneath the surface and he winced, knowing the man must be going through agony. "How are you still standing? Just how stubborn are you? I need to get you somewhere where I can try and help you, if you were anyone else, you'd be dead right now. Where's the safest place to go, I'm assuming Granny's probably isn't the best bet right now."

Emma turned and noticed that the boys had stopped and that Oli seemed to be doing some kind of vulcan mind meld with Killian. "Mum, hold up. Something's wrong." She approached just as Oli finished saying "......best bet right now." As she got level with his shoulder she saw Killian's eyes and gasped. "What the hell is going on?"

Oli turned his head to talk to Emma, "I'm not sure. He stopped so I came to see what was wrong. As far as I can gather, there's some form of poison in him that should have killed him by now. It was meant for me, the blade Oscar had must have been coated with whatever is doing this. We need to get him somewhere safe, and fast. I'll need access to whatever kind of magic potions that are available to you if I'm to have any chance in saving Killian's life. If you can get that knife that Oscar used, would be very helpful as if I know what kind of poison it is I'll be able to cure it quicker."

Emma nodded. "The Jolly Rodger. Mum and I will go after Oscar and Rumple, see if we can't help you out." She waived her hand and a cloud of white magic engulfed Oli, Killian and Aurora. Her stomach was tying itself in knots. Why was it that Killian always ended up getting himself into trouble. She hoped that Oli was able to save him. If not she'd go back to the underworld to get him just to kick his arse for dying. Again.

Once the magic had dissapeared Oli quickly set about making Killian comfortable and figuring out how to save him.

"You had to make it obvious," Killain scorned groggily, closing his eyes when his head began to ache. "She'll give me a right telling off now, just you wait. I'm fine, this is all dramatic. I just needed a moment, that was all.. just a moment to... to rest my eyes..."

Oli rolled his eyes, "I'm not the one who can barely string a sentence together mate." As Killian's eye's started to flutter closed Oli growled, "No you don't. Don't you dare go to sleep on me. I need you awake, now, why don't you tell me how a pirate captain ended up courting a princess, and seemingly managing to win over said princess's parents." He needed to keep Killian occupied and thought that story might be one he'd enjoy telling.

Emma marched ahead knowing her mum would be following. Before she did anything else she needed to find the knife, she remembered Oscar dropping it in the woods after attempting to kill Oli. She found the clearing where the coffin stood and scanned the ground until......there! She quickly ran over to the knife and waived her hand over it to magic it to the Jolly in the hopes it'd help Oli save Killian. She couldn't bear to think about what could be happening to Killian right now. She wasn't sure she'd be able to cope without him. She needed him to live so she could tell him she loved him, right before tearing him a new one for being so damn stubborn! She got up and turned to face Snow. "C'mon mum, we need to find Oscar, he's more likely to give us answers, then we need to go to Regina, she'll have loads of potions.

Oli carefully picked up the blade, making sure not to cut himself. He magicked up a small container and gently shook the blade over it until a few drops of liquid fell. He placed the knife down and inspected the poison. It had a red tint to it and when he smelled it, it had a cloying smell. Something niggled at the back of his head. Anzid. That was it. That was definately not good. Killian seemed a strong man but he wouldn't survive more than two days with this in his system. He quickly got to producing the ingredience from his stock back in the cottage to make the antidote.

"Emma is special," He responded, some of his words slurring together making the statement almost inaudible at times. "You wouldn't believe half of the things that happen here, I wouldn't know where to start."

"Oli invited me to a party, walked around this massive hall singing to me. Everyone was staring, could of died of embarrassment." Aurora spoke up from where she was watching, "So, I think he would believe you. He's got a few screws loose, Oli has."

"The town border, he's always there." Snow hummed, "You go there, I'll go and speak to Regina. We can get more done if we split up."

Oli smiled. He could tell the connection between Killian and Emma was unique. He huffed a laugh as Aurora spoke up, screws loose indeed........ "Why don't you start at tne beginning, that's normally a good place to start. You loved my singing really, no one can resist my singing." Oli winked over at Aurora before concentrating on making the potion to help cure Killian. It was times like this he missed Maui. He could really do with his friend..........wait, could he get Maui here? He kept adding ingredients hoping he could save his new friend in time whilst mulling over how to get Maui to Storybrooke.

Emma nodded, "Ok mum, by the way, if you see dad tell him what's going on, he'll need to know. Why can't we have five minutes without crazy?" With that Emma head towards the town line trying to figure out how not to throttle a teenage boy. She wondered about Oscar, she'd only ever seen him on his own at the town line and occasionally running errands for Rumple. Come to think of it, Emma didn't know anything about the boy. There was more to this than she was aware of. She got up to the town line and looked around for Oscar.

Killian curled in on himself in a sudden motion, coughing violently, making a horrible gagging noise as black, thick and clotted blood came out with his cough. Mumbling something unaudible that slightly resembled Emma's name before he lost conciousness entirely; weight going heavy against what he was laying upon.

"Oli..." Aurora whispered with a frown, hesitantly walking over to see what was going on. "I- Are you sure a hospital isnt a good idea?"

Oscar was sat on a rock just near the sign welcoming travellers to the town, his head in his hands and his eyes closed; listening to the birds around him.

"Shitshitshitshitshit" Oli rushed over to Killian with the potion, raised his head up and gently got the pirate to drink it. "Hey mate, this should slow things down a bit. Without the proper ingredients, I can't stop it just yet, but hopefully whoever the princesses have gone to find will have what I need. Don't you dare die on me ok, I don't think your misses will take to kindly to your kicking the bucket on my watch." He sat back and leant on the bunk Killian was laying on and ran a hand through his hair before looking up at Aurora. "A hospital won't help I'm afraid. What he's got, isn't the kind of thing most people get afflicted with. It's a special brand of magical poison called Anzid and it's not pretty. I could only do so much, my stock is rather ill equipped to deal with this sort of thing. Hopefully whoever Snow and Emma have gone to find has what I need." He huffed in annoyance.

Emma approached the boy with caution, maybe badass saviour Emma had to be put on the backburner and lonely orphan Emma should make an appearance. She sat on a rock near Oscar, close enough to talk but not enough to spook him. She waived her hand and produced two steaming mugs of cocoa with cinnamon and floated one over to where Oscar was sat. "Hey kid. Need to talk?"

Regina looked up from the dinner she was having with Henry at the sound of the knock on the door. "Stay here Henry." She got up and went to the door. "Snow? What's wrong? What's happened?" She could see the princess looked troubled. "Do you need to come in?"

Riley was in his room where he was tossing a few items into a backpack muttering under his breath.

"We'll be fine, Riley, don't worry so much," Amara spoke from her position in his doorway where she was leaning against the frame.

"Now isn't the time for me to be leaving you all for awhile... there's things to be done here." He tossed another shirt into his bag.

Aleaka was sat on the couch in the living underneath a blanket with little Sophia on her lap, the young toddler clearly wasn't feeling well and her cheeks were flushed. The two of them were watching a Disney movie.

"Hey, calm down okay? No harm no foul," Melani was trying to calm a stressed Kimi, tissue pressed to her nose. He had taken a nap with Kale and, when Melani had tried to wake up him, he'd hit her solidly in the face.

"I msde your nose bleed." Kimi's voice cracked on the word and he fisted his hands so tight his knuckles turned white. He was breathing as shallow as he could.

Kale was still on the bed, ears low and eyes darting between the two of them, his tail curled almost defensively around him.

Liam clumsily elbowed the door open to their place, fumbling with the bags hanging off of his arms.

"I wasn't sure what to get so I just grabbed what the pharmacist recommended. She did say if the symptoms got worse, her fever got worse, or if they weren't better in the next few days she needs a doctor - Ah, damn," he cursed as he nearly lost one of the bags while trying to shut the door.

"I picked some stuff up for the fridge too while I was out, sorry I took so long."

"I've got it under control, Riley. Plus it's only for a few days," she answered turning swiftly on her heel when the scent of blood filled her nostrils, darting down the halls until she came to Kimi's room taking in the sense.

Riley muttered something under his breath that sounded like 'Sure, right' as he zipped up his bag and slung it over his shoulder dashing from his room to follow her the door shutting behind him.

Looking up from her spot on the couch she smiled softly seeing him with all the bags he had. "Here, let me help you," she slid Sophia over onto the couch and rose to her feet crossing the room to take some of the bags from him. "She hasn't gotten any worse but she hasn't improved yet either."

"It's a nosebleed, Kimi," Melani finally snapped, sounding as if she was on the verge of shouting. "A motivated toddler could give me a nosebleed. I'm fine!" She dropped the tissue as if to prove her point, but it only highlighted the accompanying black eye and crookedness of a recently broken nose.

Kimi hunched his shoulders defensively, hands tightening to the point he was digging crescent moon marks into his palms. Kale was the only one to notice Amara in the doorway, scrambling from the bed and making a leap nearly long enough to get him from the mattress to her feet, immediately moving to huddle behind her legs, tail tucked low.

"Sorry, I thought I'd be alright," Liam murmured, leaning in to kiss her cheek in thanks when she was close enough. "Careful with that one though, that one has the eggs."

Right away without hesitation Amara knelt down and gently plucked Kale up off the ground from behind her legs to hold him in her arm, one hand keeping the small boy/pup close and the other smoothing a hand over his ears lightly. "It's alright, everything's alright," she whispered to him.

Riley sighed taking in the scene, Melani's loud outburst making it easy to quickly figure out what had just occurred. "Kimi, take a few deep breaths, okay? Accidents happen." He assured him calmly moving past Amara and towards Melani. "Let's go get you cleaned up, hm?" It wouldn't take long to do before he had to leave.

She smiled once more turning her head to lightly brush a quick kiss to his lips. "Why are you sorry? You did wonderful, look at all this that you managed to get and bring home on your own. Thank you." Aleaka nodded carefully setting the bag with the eggs on the counter once she got into the kitchen.

Kale huddled up close, keeping his ears low. He was clearly still not a fan of shouting or loud noise.

Melani shoved the tissue back up against her nose, silently and almost angry, annoyed that she couldn't get her point across as she followed Riley.

Kimi waited until he couldn't hear their footsteps anymore before he let out a deep breath and dropped onto the bed as if he couldn't support his weight anymore.

"You looked so cosy on the sofa and had to get up to help." Liam gently deposited his bags on the counter.

Riley lead her into the closest bathroom to help her get cleaned.

Once they were gone, Amara made her way over and sat down on the bed beside Kimi, Kale on her lap. "Are you okay?"

"It's alright, I don't mind getting up to help." She smiled at him.

"He's too proud," was the first thing Melani said. "He thinks he's too old to let nightmares hurt him, and doesn't want to admit it."

"I didn't mean to, I just..." Kimi began, shaking hands twisted on his lap as he stared at the smudges of blood on his knuckles. "I got...she startled me. And she makes it seem like no big deal, but what if I, what if I really hurt her one day, like, she can't get back up, or..." he was still barely breathing

Kale stretched across to rest his chin gently on Kimi's thigh, as if in silent support, his small tongue rasping against a still slightly bloody knuckle.

"If you're sure." Liam chewed on his bottom lip. "How has she been while I was gone?"

"Nightmares happen at any age, no matter who you are," Riley commented lightly.

Amara let out a slow breath. "Kimi... calm down. Slow even breaths, you need to calm down first..." she reached out a hand gently rubbing his shoulder, her free hand lightly stroking Kale's ears.

"Positive, love," Aleaka hummed leaning over to kiss his cheek. "She napped a little and I managed to get her to drink some water as well."

"I know that," Melani scoffed. "There isn't a night I don't close my eyes and see my parents eviscerated on the kitchen floor. But just because I'm not good at...expressing my feelings, Kimi feels like he has to be the same. He doesn't. He deserves a good life and..." Melani suddenly sighed, all of the fight leaving her as she slumped. "I don't think I can give it to him. A good life."

"She doesn't like vampires," Kimi continued, voice pitched high."Well, I suppose she doesn't mind them now, but sometimes...what if she looks at me and hates me now, and now I've hurt her and reinforced that and..."

Kale remained small and quiet, head tilting only slightly to Amara's hand.

"Has her temperature gone down at all? I have some medicine that should help a little with it if it hasn't. She hasn't eaten?" Liam wrung his hands together normally.

Riley sighed quietly moving to sit down on the floor patting the spot beside him. "You're trying. Everything you've ever done was for, Kimi. To help him, to protect him, to give him a better life... to keep him alive. He knows this, Mel. We all do."

She continued the gentle petting of Kale's ears and head wanting him to know that he was alright and safe there on her lap. "Kimi, she doesn't hate you, she could never hate even she's your sister. What happened was an accident, you know that, don't you?"

"A little but with the help of the medicine you bought we'll get her temperature down to normal in no time," Aleaka tried to assure him gently. "Not very much. It's alright as long as she's getting fluids for now."

"If it weren't for me, he wouldn't need the better life; he'd be living it." Melani sat next to him, knees tucked to her chest. "He'd still have mum, and dad. I can't replace either of them."

"I know, but I've never hurt her before. And there was blood - " Kimi's voice cracked and he fumbled his fingers on his lap. "I'm angry it smelled good - it's my sister, not food, or, or anything like that."

Kale whimpered quietly and slowly crept a little further into Kimi's lap. Kimi lifted his hands out of the way without even thinking about, too used to letting Kale get his way.

"I'm not used to...so small," Liam said weakly. "She just seems so brittle, and soft. I just worry."
