Reuniting Tornedalians

Elijah and Caleb were in their cells, sitting peacefully, waiting until the guards had left before they tried small spells to get out of their cage. Starting small, before they got bigger.

The women were trying to get the children to relax.

Upstairs there were voices speaking about what to do with them. Jessica was also upstairs and it was clear someone was yelling at her.

Angel had started crying, sobbing into her arms as she curled up into the foetal position, but she was also shaking, giving off a dangerous charge.

"Elijah, Christian, calm her down." Caleb shouted to his brother and nephew and since Christian's cell was opposite hers, he looked at her as Eric got as close to her side of his cage to her.

"Angel, it's alright." Eric told her, trying to get his hand to her. "It's alright, me and Christian are here."

Laura and Marie were pacing now both wanting to be with their children.

Elijah looked up as he heard his brother.

"What the hell do they want with us?" Caleb asked.

"I don't know but taking children isn't right," Laura hissed angrily because she couldn't get to her son.

"There needs to be a way out."

"Well right now, I'm spent, something here is blocking our energy." Caleb told them.

"Basically we can't use our magic." Elijah old them and he tried to find his sons and daughter. "Christian, Angel, Eric, are you three alright?"

"I'm scared daddy." Angel whispered.

"Eric and I can't actually move to get up." Christian told them.

"I can move but I can't shift..." Michelle answered from her cell her voice breaking clearly showing how she wasn't used to that.

"Where's Alexander?"

Marie sighed deeply.

"I'm here mummy." He whimpered.

Elijah looked over at her. "Are you alright?"

Christian looked over at Michelle. "Are you okay though?"

"It's alright little prince, we'll get out of here," Laura told him.

"I'm alright Eli, are you okay?"

She nodded sitting down to take the weight off her leg.

Christian looked over at her.

Alexander whimpered and Caleb almost hit the bars, trying to get to his son.

Elijah looked at her and nodded slightly.

"I'll be okay," she mouthed looking at him.

At hearing their children Laura and Marie looked like they would cry.

Sitting on the steps I the shadows was Jessica, silently watching them.

"Eric, how are you doing?" Elijah asked, worried when he hadn't heard his other son's voice for a while.

"I'm alright father...I think...I just can't get up." He told him.

He nodded slightly looking towards his brother and he sounded worried at hearing what was being said. "Eric, you didn't hunt?"

"No...I never got the chance, but I'll be fine, don't worry." Eric told him.

Jessica was only going on orders and so was waiting on everyone to go quiet.

"Did everyone else hunt?" Marie asked.

"He gave his to me." Angel whispered. "It's my fault."

"And I don't regret it." Eric told his little sister giving her a smile in comfort. "But none of this is your fault little one." He told her.

"No it's Jessica's." Christian muttered.

"I know." Eric sighed, lapsing into silence was a deep cough that sounded like he was coughing up his insides all of a sudden.

"Stop. We're not blaming ourselves or one another. We all know how our family works and we care for one another."

"Eric slow deep breaths," Marie told her son.

Jessica flinched and went clear not wanting to be seen.

Eric nodded to his mother's orders. "I will..."

Angel looked around. "Are we going to die?"

"Ask Jessica since she seems to be happy watching us suffer." Elijah spoke up.

Jessica didn't answer and went upstairs when there was a shout for her to do so. She was ordered to bring down cups of animals blood for them which she left near the bars before going upstairs.

(Could have something in it that makes them ill?)

((That would really destroy Eric as he's already not doing so good....good idea))

"Daddy I'm thirsty." Angel toms them as she looked at the blood Jessica had placed before her.

"Me too." Alexander whimpered.

"MEric got himself to the front of his cage and he picked up his own cup sniffing it, it smelt fine and he took a sip before he downed the whole cup.

(Just addingredients to the drama xD)

"I'm not drinking that..." Michelle cringed shaking her head. "Give mine to the children or Eric."

Marie watched Eric drink making sure he was alright. "Is it okay?" She picked up her cup and tested it. "It smells, looks and tastes just as it should Eli..."

Laura looked at the others.

Elijah hadn't touched his, instead he slid it around to Eric.

Laura was quiet only taking a sip or two from hers. "After deeming it safe she looking to Caleb. "Cal taste it? Make sure it's okay?"

Christian drank his as Angel drank hers and Caleb passed his over to his son who drank it quickly a long with his own.

Once everyone had drank and the cups were empty Jessica came down and collected them all.

Eric refused to look at her as she collected his, whilst Alexander tried to keep as far from her as possible in fear of what would happen.
