Across Seas - Remade

"Your one of them...."

She looked up at him and she shrugged, before she glanced to the knife she kept in her desk, wondering whether she was going to need to use it, and she hoped not.

"You knew?"

She shook her head. "Not until we caught those two sirens, I noticed their marks...My father wasn't a siren, my mother on the other hand, could have been....I don't know, she died in childbirth." She shrugged. "You just fully confirmed what I am."

"I can't believe you," Luke mumbled, wrinkling his nose in a gesture that could of been seen as disgust. "Can't believe you'd keep even a suspicion of that away from me, we're suppose to be able to communicate. What is the point in us being with one another if you can not talk to me, and throwing away all of the relationship bullshit; we're suppose to be friends. How dare you keep something from me, how dare you be aware of something and keep it from me. And stop eyeing up that damn knife as if your going to lunge at me with it! You want to kill me because I figured it out then do it, I don't give a crap, slit my throat."

She looked at him letting him vent his anger on her. "I only look at the knife because I've had been people try and kill just for catching a glimpse, I couldn't tell you, because I was already told to never tell a soul and keep it hidden." She told him and she looked ready to burst into tears. She didn't know what to do and she hadn't known how to tell him that she was a monster from the ocean, in fact even the knowledge that she was of siren descent scared her. "I know what they do to people who are in league with Sirens, if anyone found out that I was in love with you, they would have come after you."

"We're through." He replied bluntly, "I don't know you at all, obviously, the trust is shattered. We're done." he hissed, turning and heading out and down to the kitchen.

Amora seemed a bit too stunned to say anything and she sat at her desk, before she got to her feet and she closed the curtains over her room to put herself into darkness, it made her feel slightly better and then it hit her hard, causing her to sit on the floor of her room, pulling her knees up to her chest.

((haha, well we could have the people in the town they are going to find out somehow, say she really does something that Marie doesn't like and Marie tells someone and they come for her to kill her or something? no idea haha))

(( I don't think that would result in them back together, the issue is now is that he feels like his trust was misplaced. He feels like she's keeping secrets from him and how much does he really mean to her if thats the case? Her getting hurt wouldn't save them, it would just complicated the situation more. She has to prove somehow that she isn't hiding anything else from him, and that she regrets it before he even thinks about budging ))

When the ship docked on the island where Amora's family were, Amora was the last off the ship and she held her coat closed to keep in some heat from the cool air and she started her walk towards her brother's home. However, just before she could leave the harbour, Iris suddenly walked to her. "Take it as he knows." She told her and she sounded smug. "You can't handle what you are can you."

Amora looked at her. "I'm human, I was brought up human, I will always be human." She told her. "Now leave me alone or you won't make it back to your pod in one piece."

"Touch her and I'll put a spear through your pretty little eye." Naia sneered, having approached the harbour as she recognised the ship pull in and made a small, content clicking noise as she spotted Iris. Reaching forward, she grabbed a hold of her wrist and pushed her behind her in a protective motion, eyes narrowing as she met Amora's gaze.

Luke was sat on the edge of one of the rivers a few miles inland, resting his chin against his knuckles as he looked out over the water in silence.

Amora looked at her and she really did not seem to be affected by either of them. "Then tell the child not to stick her nose where it doesn't belong." She told her before she walked off and she found Luke, and she took a deep breathe walking over, pulling some parchment from her bag. "Hey, I'm not here to start a fight, but I was given something for you." She told him.

Killian was back at home with Marie and he was watching the ceiling of their bedroom.

"I don't care," Luke mumbled, almost stoic, the vocal response being the only indication he even noticed she was there. "Leave me alone, Amora. We are here for your family so you need to leave me alone and go spend time with them. I'm done with you."

Naia turned on her heel to face Iris then, opening her mouth to talk before she just sighed instead and let her wrist go; the protective gleam having returned to hurt as she remembered how they had last parted.

Marie had her head resting on his chest, fast asleep.

"I'm here with the leave you asked for." She put the parchment beside him. "I was given a list, your name was at the top." She told him before she walked away and she made the walk up to her brother's house, knocking on the door.

He held her close, kissing the top of her head.

Iris looked at her. "I'm sorry."

"You left me to die..." Naia whispered, "I practicslly raised you after your parents were gutted by pirates; by people like them and you left me below ship to rot. Sorry isnt enough, admitting you were wrong is enough, agreeing to stay away from them all from now on is enough."
