He slid his arms around her, holding her close.

After a few minutes she had fallen asleep.

He eventually fell asleep beside her. In the morning, he woke up and he looked around for her.

She hadn't moved one bit.

He smiled slightly, moving to press gentle kisses to her neck.

The kisses got her attention and she blinked her eyes open sleepily.

He smiled slightly. "Good morning."

"Mmm morning," she hummed quietly snuggling against him.

He held her close.

"The others are awake?"

"Yeah some are."

"Should we go down and see them then?"

"Are you sure you're ready to face my mother?"

"I'm going to have to sooner or later Christian."

He smiled. "Well, no time like the present I suppose."

She smiled getting up and changing for the day.

He got changed for the day.

She waited for him once she was ready.

He held out his hand as he walked to the hal.

She took his hand walking with him.

He headed downstairs with her.

She squeezed his hand.

Marie was making breakfast for the children and she paused when they came downstairs eyeing them both.

Christian slid his arm around her kissing her head. "What would you like for breakst?"

Elijah was sat at the table watching his wife and reading the morning papr.

She smiled brightly but resisted the urge to hug them both.

"You don't need to cook for me, Christian, I can do it."

"But I want to." He told her playfully.

Elijah looked over at them and he smiled slightly.
