He rolled around pawing and nudging at her.

Ana nodded. "I think we could all use a rest."

He nudged her back.

Alice nodded and Stephan pulled her up to her feet.

Ana smiled softly watching them.

Stephan walked with her to her room, and he left her to get herself ready for bed and he looked at Ana. "I'm going to stay out here for a bit longer tonight, make sure that she's okay, you can go to bed if you want." He told her.

Ana eyed him for a moment. "Come to bed soon... you should rest until you've healer fully."

He nodded. "I won't be long."

She kissed his cheek turning to go to her room.

He kissed her lips in return and true to his word, he came back to their room after about half an hour and he got changed and slid into bed with her.

((should we skip until he comes back with his new wife and alice has had the baby?))

She moved to curl up against him once he joined her.

(Sure)

A few months later, Alice was sitting in her room, a small bassinette in front of her. The baby was only a few days old and very small, but they were happily sleeping.

Hayden was sat next to her and she handed her a drink. "Are you alright?"

Alice nodded in silence.

Ana was leaning against the doorway watching them silently. "You should rest, Alice."

"I can't." She told them, sipping her drink. "I can't rest, she needs me."

"She has all of us and she's asleep. How can you care for her of you aren't well rested?"

"And if something happens?" Alice asked. "She was born early and the angels are still around."

"She will be protected by us, Stephan himself would die for her, as would I." Hayden told her.

"All of us would. An entire house full of family would give our lives up for you or her or anyone here. She's safe."

Frankie was stood just outside the house his eyes bright but hard and cold as he took in where he was again.

Alice sighed, she knew that they were right and she nodded. "Okay, one hour."

Hayden smiled, and she moved so that Alice could lie down and she took the bassinette to the best place beside her bed so that Alice could still see the sleeping baby when she woke up.

Stephan soon came up behind him. "You're a bit late you know."

"Good. We're all right here for you."

He turned and looked at him. "The baby was early then?"

He nodded. "A good month or more, an angel attacked and we had no choice." Stephan told him pulling his tishirt collar out of the way slightly to reveal an ugly healing wound. "Little bastard got past me and Ethan and Ana, Hayden took him down."

Alice nodded. "Thank you everyone." She told them as Hayden tucked her into bed.

Frankie clenched his jaw. "They swore to leave you all alone.... how are they?.."

"You're welcome. Now just rest."

"Alice hasn't slept since the birth, she's terrified that the baby will be taken from her." Stephan told him. "Why are you here?"

Alice smiled weakly and she settled down to sleep, the baby comfortable sleeping in her bed and Hayden went out of the room and waited for Ana.

"To see how they're doing."

Ana left the room with a deep sigh.

"And where's your wife?" Stephan asked.

Hayden looked at Ana. "Are you worried about her too."

She nodded. "She needs rest and she's to worried to get the proper rest she needs."

"I don't know and I don't care."

"I know." Hayden sighed. "How are your wounds healing up?"

Stephan looked at him. "If your quiet, I can take you to see your daughter if you want."

Frankie let out a breath and nodded. "I'd like that..."

"Decently. Stephan is healing more slowly. How are you?"
