"Then I will return to my rooms and feel what I need to feel in peace. All I do here is have to pretend and I am tired. Enjoy your day, Rose."

She sighed. “You too mum.”

Meanwhile on Earth, Kai was lounging on the sofa reading, he had taken a day off to ensure that Autumn was okay and right now he was lying on the sofa with a book

"What're you reading?" She questioned lightly as she came out of her room, snatching the book from his hands. "This is a different one to last week."

He looked to her. “Charles Dickens Great Expectations.”

"Heavy reading,"

He shrugged. “It’s not so bad.”

"Heavy." She repeated, passing it back and going to settle on the chair opposite

He moved to sit up and he put his bookmark back into his book he was already half way through. “How are you doing today?”

"I'm fine. Yeah. Good... how are you?"

“I’m alright a bit concerned about you.”

"Me? Why?"

“You’re very quiet lately, you’re even refusing to go out with your friends and you keep blowing off this ‘blind date’.”

"It isn't illegal to enjoy being at home. Where doors lock and no one can get in."

“You see if you didn’t add that last sentence I would have agreed.”

"It's just a fact."

He smiled softly. “Do you want to do a pizza and movie night tonight?”

"Sure, if you want."

“Thought it might be nice.” He told her

"Yeah. I said yes."

He nodded. “Your turn to choose a movie then.”
