He smiled, offering her some of his.

She smiled brightly and accepted the offer, leaning over to try some. "Mm, nice."

He finished his and sat back waiting for her.

She finished her own a few minutes later.

He smiled slightly. "Feeling any better?"

"Mhm, just worried about you now."

"Don't be," He told her. "I'll be fine."

"And if your not?"

He shrugged. "Then at least I can say I've had fun in my final days."

"I don't want you to have final days."

She smiled looking over at him with a playful grin, "Race you there?"

He looked at her. "Believe me I don't either, but let's look on the bright side, I have more things working in my favour than David."

Christian nodded.

Michelle smiled. "Let's do it. On three? ... One... two..."

"Three." He was off like a shot.

She laughed as she took off after him.

He reached the fair a second or two ahead of her.

It was a long week, Koby had been waiting for this and on the first full moon he had challenged David to a fight for alpha. The fight had been brutal, Koby hadn't used his advantage that much but David was close to losing, he was bleeding heavily.

Peyton was sat on a lower bramch of a tree so she wouldn't be in the way, a first aid kit beside her ready. Swallowing thickly as she watched, unhappy that it was even happening.

David suddenly decided that he wanted to cheat and he decided to act Submissive, rolling onto his back, as Koby went to move away, he moved quickly and quietly.

"Koby!" Peyton called in warning.

Koby turned just as David went for his neck and he caught him in his own mouth, pinning him to the floor so hard that there was a snap.

Peyton flinched at the snapping sound, sliding down from the tree branch and watching David closely to see if he would get back up or not.

Koby got back to his feet and when he realised that David was dead, there was a long loud howl as the other members of the pack joined in, with howls and excited chatter.
